I'm a Nigerian watching from Nigeria. Catholicism was actually introduced to Nigeria by the "Holy Ghost Fathers of Ireland". So, in a subtle way, Ireland colonised southern Nigeria through the church. Also stout is synonymous with Guinness in Nigeria (It's the default stout). Alcohol is banned in the entire Northern, Muslim part of Nigeria. So, all the Guinness is drunk in southern Nigeria.

Paddy drove the bus. But if you hated it. Blame Brendan the guy giveing the tour. FUCKING Respect. Don't blame the dude driving. He just did his thing. Blame Brendan, they guy giving the tour, but actually he was really fucking cool too. I love this, SO much. Paddy made it go choo choo, you save him. I made it go "knowledge"..urrr infos BAD. You both rule, and you should ask for a bonus. Why? inflation! Silly!

In the US, in New Orleans, they call it a go cup. Most importantly, you can put your adult beverages in them and walk around. They also have drive through daiquiri shops. 😉

That looked like fun! I had no idea the U.S. ambassador to Ireland lived in a park. At the end of a bus tour in the U.S., they hit you up for a tip, not just a positive on-line review.

Well they did have a tip jar too. Irelands a bit more awkward in that it’s not required so it’s kind of up to you. I did leave a tip but again, not required. I just thought they did an excellent job

Speaking of parks. To put things in perspective. Ireland is 84,421 km squared Jasper National Park in the Province of Alberta is. 11,228 km squared. Quebec, Ontario, British Columbia. are the three Provinces larger than Alberta.

Lovely, the pair of you. And the tour was nice, too. What's next? A balloon ride with mandatory Champagne at the finish? Luncheon on a canal boat -- if you have any (I wouldn't know)? A weekend in a Normandy chateau recently redone and converted to a B&B? You do come up with fun surprises!

It is something to do the tourist thing in your hometown. San Francisco gal here, didn't ride a cable car until I was 38! That same year, I went to Fisherman's Wharf 🙄. What a dull horrible place. Except the one lone 80 yr old restaurant that served fresh Dungeness crab at off the boat price! And it was still on the pier. Sadly, it was lost to the pandemic. And now FW is where no San Franciscan will get within smelling distance. DO NOT get me started on the BS that is The crookedest road. It is a tourist trap. Go north to Sausalito for switch backs that make you wacky

There's an old train that was renovated into a wine tasting coach and open window car ride in Grapevine, Tx called The Spider Train. No, it's not done up like spider. It's a long slow tour through the countryside of N. Texas from Grapevine to the Stock Yards in Fort Worth, Tx. I think you guys would love that as well.

So do the Irish still refer to their money as a quid when it switched to the Euro? I didn't realize the word was used outside the UK. So if I ever come to Ireland I want to take that tour, but apparently I'm going to have to scare up another person somewhere to come along.
