It seems this song sounds very similar to Elvis Presley's , In My Way. Both are beautiful! Great movie! My favorite actress! Elvis could sing anything ! America has had many presidents, but only one KING!

Not a fan of the movie; too derivative of other, better movies like "The Prisoner of Zenda". But I did like this scene, and I liked Natalie Wood when she's not yelling.

What does The Great Race have to do with The Prisoner of Zenda??

@@123boink There is a scene in this movie where Tony Curtis has a sword fight with Ross Martin which is very much like the definitive sword fight in "The Prisoner Of Zenda" The fight ends with Martin making his escape exactly the way the bad guy makes his escape in "Zenda". It is clearly an homage to the Zenda movie. Homages happen in many movies. The director may admire another movie and insert a scene which, if you're a movie buff like me, you'll appreciate. Another example is in the Ryan O'Neal/ Barbara Streisand movie "What's Up Doc!", Streisand says to O'Neal at the end; "Love means never having to say you're sorry." O'Neal replies; "That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard." If you're a movie buff, you'll get a chuckle out of it. If not, it'll go over your head.
