The Synthesis of 1,2,3,4-Tetrahydrocarbazole 

In this video I show the synthesis of tetrahydrocarbazole from phenylhydrazine and cyclohexanone using the Fischer indole synthesis.
The product will be used in a later video and the yellow colouration is not of concern (though quite visually displeasing) as the melting point was satisfactory. The product could be recrystallized again in MeOH with activated charcoal to try and remove most of the colour.
