i was 13 in 7th grade and moved from the cool and intelligent northern suburbs of Atlanta to a short 60 miles south to one of the true armpits of America in Griffin Georgia. 'Don't disturb this groove' was on the radio and still is something that dates you wherever you are. I bought this album with limited cash for a 13 year old. I'm over 50 now and man--time machines exist in music. Treated poorly in a new environment where country and rap fans don't know the difference between the sides of a penny-(same music, different sides) the system was a gateway. One of many. These guys did their homework and put together their best album. Thank you for this.
Songs that don’t get played on radio are often underrated as far as I know, but then again, this song might’ve been played on radio several times back in its hay day
I was listening to the system back when I was a young man I didn't always like electronic music two guys in the studio but Mick Murphy and his partner change that these guys were awesome the lead vocals and yes the beats stick with me today great workout music
This track brings back so many Guud Memories as a Young DJ..I was given promo copies of this album a Remixed tha heck outta this track ..wish they would come back
