The T-51 Solution Fallout Lore  

All fallout games suffer from ludonarrative dissonance whether it's a military wife turning from shocked fresh widow to killing machine or father less vault dweller turning from bumbling teen into, you guessed it killing machine

A lot of things that happen in the games have to be changed for gameplay purposes. That's why I'm excited for the amazon series. There'll be no need to balance things to make a decent game

The armour is great for protection, don’t get me wrong, but the primary draw of it was you were able to have a unit with the firepower of a tank without losing the mobility of an infantry.

Yea... but T-51 Power Armour would obviously be terrifying because it's a giant suit of armour, and its obvious from the outside, and who would charge at someone with a minigun or missile launcher?

because a lot of raiders are either psychopathic and don’t care if they die or not, they jus wanna do as much damage to you as possible before they do, and or they are chem addicts and can’t think straight

The problem with liberty Prime is that he was very ineffective for a prolonged war since it needed to much power and it was also a very slow and easy to hit target and before the BOS improved his mobility he couldn't even jump to avoid so obstacles.

as in that it can carry shit powerful enough to kill a tank and still manage to make it out alive

Dude can tank missiles larger than the shell calibre of a IS-2's main armament in a T-51b power armour set.

@@jart1984 umm, that literally describes man portable ATGMs like the Javelin. I can see power armor teams being very effective and insanely powerful, but I’d doubt they would be superior to actual tanks

It’s most likely plot errors like the yao guai and deathclaws can rip through power armor like it’s nothing but power armor can shred tanks? Something doesn’t add up

It’s even worse when you consider that in most fallout games you can Tear through an enemy wearing power armor with BLUNT weapons or even the 9mm pistol….

@@lion6379 blunt weapons would be more effective than sharp weapons against power armour it goes back to the medieval knights who’s armour was very resistant to pericinh and slashing attacks but you smash them in the head with a hammer and there dead

@@sebastianflynn1746 you are technicaly right we’re it not for the fact that they are the closest real world example they are both heavy metal based suits both rare and expensive and come with great power on the battlefield and as such have the same vulnerability to blunt weapons due to the relative lack of thickness needed to disperse blunt force trama it acts similar to a hesh round where even if the armour remains relatively intact the person / systems inside it are complealty fucked and broken

Power armor made from different materials,not only steel

Boy use a bit of what we call Imagination, when it comes to Power Armor least in the context of Fallout Universe and how the warfront of Alaska is like than we'll talk. If not than let me elaborate further, first of all no one is denying when it comes to sheer firepower a Tank is clearly superior however, the point behind a PA is the Infantry Soldier is more impervious to ordinary small arms fire which is still effective enough to deliver breakthroughs into Chinese lines, that a Tank wouldn't. Lastly terrain agility sure any sharpshooter would target a PA Tin Can soldier, guess what that same PA Tin Can Soldier comes with a Squad it all boils down to where the said PA Soldier is deployed at to serve it's role as a humanoid tank whilst able to have mobility and firepower alike, with little to no recoil whatsoever. Lastly if you actually use that 'scrambled' brain of yours as you did put it as so, the Alaskan Front is more of a trench warfare therefore Tanks useless , Aircrafts useless. Guess what's the next best thing PA in Humanoid size allowing American troops to support the same Power Armored Soldiers soaking up that small arms fire, yet dealing suppressive fire or just outright damage input use some common sense please or some imagination before yapping on to compare PA IRL when it comes to a 'Fallout' Short video.

Fallout 76 made the t 51 stronger then the t 60 making the t 60 a slightly stronger version of t45

@@aidanhelfrich4887 I meant like how T-60 shouldn’t even exist at all. T-51b was supposed to be the most advanced and most recent power armor model pre-war

@@drenchedinsyrupp6059 it is the most advanced t60 was made because t-51 was to expensive so they wanted a cheaper armor

@@otacogaming it shouldn’t exist because it wasn’t ever mentioned in prior games and it doesn’t make sense in the timeline. T-51b was supposed to be the most recent power armor model before the bombs fell but Fallout 4 retcons this with T-60. It also has X-01 armor in Nuka World, which doesn’t make sense because X-01 was developed by the Enclave *post-War*. Bethesda retcons a lot of shit like this, such as Jet no longer being a post-War drug (even though you meet the guy who made it in Fallout 2), or Vertibirds not being in active service until the Enclave rolled around post-War

@@steverambo4692 Better than FNV and FO3. Those looks and feels like regular armor or cloth and not the *THUMB,THUMB,THUMB* of Fo4 armor. Feels like real power armor.

@@dariustiapula I should clarify I like the way it feels in fallout 4 but it looks ridiculous check out a mod called titans of the new west it takes the look of 3/nv and makes it feel like fallout 4
