Notice the pattern is the same as when you meet a stranger walking by your home. By that I mean, when you meet a stranger, you do not bring that stranger into the most intimate place of your home. Once you have become familiar with the stranger, whose name you know after the initial meeting you had with the stranger. Then you might talk outside whenever that person comes by. Eventually, when you can trust the stranger, you might welcome that person to your front yard. Then if you become familiar, you'll invite the person into your living room. Then, you can invite them for dinner. Then, if the person is someone you choose to come into communion with, you can bring that person to your bedroom, the most intimate place of your home where only you and your partner can be, behind closed doors. That is the pattern to keep in mind.
