Thx for taking into these new pieces, love when manufacturers listen to the end users . While they cannot give everything, refreshing to see that the ppl are having some influence. Some nice Pieces for sure, that Blk as a daily driver (or diver) is almost a no brainer for moi.

Andrew I bought the 39mm Carrera date last year with silver dial & love it! I was & am still looking at the Aquaracer. These new models are ticking my boxes. Hasten slowly…🙏🏻🤤👍🏼

It is actually an in house movement. AMT is majority owned by the LVHM group which owns Tag. Selitta are being paid to apply their expertise in AmT. IMHO it is as much in house as Kenissi for Tudor.

Definitely gonna save up to buy one of these... I always felt attracted to the 300 Aquaracer but the size held me back from pulling the trigger.

i just purchased a 43mm TAG Heuer Aquaracer GMT in Pepsi and absolutely love it! In the sun, it reflects the light and pops really well.

So far there has always been somthing with this watch what stopped me from buying it. But the latest release seems to be a piece to go for. Thumbs up!

Hats off to Heuer, they've taken customer feedback on board and refined the next iteration accordingly. The looks are going to draw parallels with the current generation Seamaster, but I don't know that being compared to one of the best dive watches of all time is a bad thing. I expect TH fans to buy these in droves.

Picked up the black version with dater today. Fits well on my wrist. Very comfortable despite the case size. A little playful with the light blue hand and text. May still get another black diver that has a more classic look. Leaning toward the Monta oceanking as of right now.

Really like it. My next piece I wanted a blue Breitling superocean (previous gen) but I might get one of these instead

Top notch. This is actually making me consider this watch instead of the new Black Bay 58 GMT. Obviously slightly larger size but the case thickness seems to be really great. I'm assuming it's still a quick set hour hand? The ceramic bezel looks great The dial is killer. Wow. Not usually the biggest TAG Heurer fan but this is making me take a look at them when they come available at my local AD.

You were always on forefront defending the Tag brand and for that I salute you.I am GS fanboy and I know what I am getting for 6k with Grand Seiko,immaculete precision and micro perfection.There is a saying among GS fans “when you are buying GS you need to buy a microscope also to appreciate any GS”. On the other hand I think Tag is a little too overpriced, for decades Tag uses average 2824 with plastic rim protection and charge 4k for it which is just insane!!

If the date was Luminous that for me would be something impressive.

For the price, I’d go for a Tudor every single time. These are perhaps a little more sporty and not so vintage so depends what your taste is.

The dial is beautiful but the cyclops ruins it for me.

Blows me away how everyone hated the last version of this. Hour hand was too fat, hour marker shape bothered some people, cyclops was a turn off, case was too big. They barely changed anything & everybody in this comment section is down on their knees for it. I’m genuinely confused.

How has the movement been modified? Sellita-based watches (SW200) can be purchased for less than $1k US. Tag Heuer has consistently offered little value for the money and little cache for the name. I’m sorry, but Tudor is light years ahead of Tag…

So, tag is copying Seiko save the ocean.

Can’t take Tag seriously when they’re intentionally making Rolex colorways instead of their own ideas. Also their sizing is way off. The previous aquaracer GMT advertised at 43mm was actually 44.5mm. Complete false advertisement in Tags part.

Tissot Seastar better than Tag Heuer

Tag is really on fire. From a brand I would think I'll never buy to brand that I'll pick up in future. Really like these new aquaracers.

Brilliant. Finally the Aquaracer has the movement it deserves. COSC and 80 hours, 4 HZ, ceramic bezel. Dare I say this watch is a great deal.

Overall is much advance to the old models, especially the power reserve is 80 hours. A big step forward. The Green Green diver and Blue/Black & Green/Black GMT is the most eye catching. I have agreed Tag is listening to customers what their need.

Officially certified Chronometer! Nice one! I've been waiting for TH to step up and get more of their pieces chronometer rated. If Breitling do it for all their watches, then TH can and should for at least half. Not for for the entry level Formula 1, but just about everything else should be IMHO. Combined with the updated design and OTF adjustment clasp and 80 hour power reserve - wow TAG.. wow!

why just we cant have an automatic dive watch with ceramic bezel in 40mm? why is no body doing it?

My wife has 2 smaller Aquaracers that appearantly have had that wavy dial for longer (she bought hers maybe a year and two years ago) and the dial is indeed gorgeous, especially her teal version. Honestly, I think the complete package of hers, and now these, hits well above their weight. I know it’s not exactly apples to apples but I’d wear the new Aquaracers happily as an alternative to, for instance, my Submariner or Pelagos.

I have the blue Aquaracer from 2 generations ago, got it in 2016. 8 years on, it still look great and love it. I'm really likeling the all Green dial and bezel, gorgeous! The sprite (green and black mix) is trying too hard to be like a Rolex, imho.

I dont know why you are saying this is a modified Sellita movement. Its not. You will not find this movement in any other manufacturers because it is a Tag Heuer movement designed and engineered by Tag Heuer with the help from AMT SA who just builds it. The TH31-00 in the new aquaracer is an AMT sa movement designed by Tag Heuer and produced by Manufacture AMT SA a company owned by Selitta. AMT SA is not Selitta. Let me repeat they are not Selitta. They are a custom movement manufacture who will build movements designed by them or by the manufacture hiring them. LVMH owns Tag Heuer. Selitta owns AMT SA. No, this is not a Selitta movement at all. Nor is it a modified Selitta movement. It was designed by Tag Heuer by Tag Heuer and built by AMT. SA. Tudor and Brietling share movements made by Kenessi SA. The movements are designed by Tudor and Brietling and Norquain for their needs. Does Tudor make them. No. Do they design them. Yes. I stopped in tonight to look at a few Tags while I was waiting for the wife. Tried on a Carrera Chrono Glass box. Wow. I was blown away. Fit and finish a level above my own Chrono. On par with most of my other watches. Tried on the watch in the video. Again. Blown away. Fit and finish has come along way. The design and fit and finish punches far above it's weight. Well worth $3800. I paid $3300 by buying the Glass box too. In my opinion..so much so I bought one. I would never have bought one in the past. The bezel is silky smooth with audable clicks and the crown is as smooth as any watch I own. The Carrera Day and Day Date are getting the new in house calibres in November. I cannot think of a better diver at this

Saw one of these in person over the weekend (the Batman color variant), and it was absolutely stunning! I ended up purchasing it. It's an absolute gem at this price point.

Great review Andrew. Are the GMT’s caller or flyer? Not a huge deal to me, but it’s curious that no one is mentioning this info. For me, the GMT’s both look outstanding. But I prefer a dive bezel, so I’d probably go for the blue. Will be hitting the Tag boutique soon to see up close.

I saw these in person at a boutique a few days ago and was stunned, they look very clean and nice! For the 300m line, they're the perfect size imo.

With those prices, that’s a direct knockout punch to Tudor, great to see! It will push Tudor to do something, perhaps release a new GMT color ASAP

I bought a green 300 Date for my collection on day one, and the adjustability of the strap has moved it to a near-daily wearer. Very comfortable.

Gotta say these releases did change my view on Aquaracer. I am a big fan of TAG Heuer, my first luxury watch is a TAG Heuer link that I've owned for 17 years, and I recently bought the Glassbox chronograph precisely because it is way more compact and wearable than the previous 42-44mm TH chronographs. I can say for sure that the new Aquaracer does the same for me and I have added both GMT models to my try-on-wrist list!

Finally got to try one yesterday. Really impressed. The small changes in size have a big effect. Green date version is it for me. Now to get one! Great explanation video as always!

I'm wearing a Sub but these new Aquaracers make me want to change.

Long time coming for the Aquaracer being upgraded to Master Chronometer status. TH should reintroduce the GMT version with the Polar White / Midnite Blue bezel (on the Blue Wave dial) which was an original TH combination. The Batman, Pepsi and Sprite combination are already being used by a variety of brands.

Need to remove the cyclops from the date and just a square. It should blend into the dial not stand out from it

Looks a bit like Omega Seamaster Diver 300 for me esp the bezel & dial. The only thing I dislike is the circular date magnifier.

As a person who own an Aquaracer I must say that it is beautiful rubbish. The design is fantastic but the quality is much worse than Sel or Kirium and the worst part is the movement.

What a great watch! If it was 38mm I would buy straight away.

I’ve got two Tags, currently wearing an Omega Seamaster diver and on the waiting list for a Rolex Submariner. These dials on these Tags are beautiful and I’ll own one soon enough. I have whites, blacks, silvers. I need that Blue Tag in my life asap.

I like the dials they look really nice so well done there . The measurements are much better but what about the lug width ? Are they still making it 21 mm so they can “ push “ their rubber straps at a premium price or have they made it 20 mm or 22mm ? The other point , which for me is the most important and one that Time + Tide never reviews is the weight of the watch. If these are over 130 -135 grams on the bracelet then they will be too heavy for daily wear to be comfortable , at least for myself .The rubber strap in my opinion would have also been better with a traditional pin and buckle instead of the clasp, like on the Omega Seamaster 300M . Not bad , but there still is room for improvement in my opinion.

I am sorry but your talking rubbish. I went into the Tag store today and the new Aquaracer is rubbish. Its worth about £1800. The fit and sizes are good but the quality is poor. The dial looks cheap and the bezel is sloppy. Go look yourself.

That's a great looking piece, though I'm bothered by how much it looks like my Omega Smp300m. At a glance, it screams omega, but only a glance. I was looking at picking up the new Carerra skipper, ended up with the new Tudor bb gmt 39mm(thats annoying to type BTW).

100% the Grand Seiko comparison first came to mind (in a good way!). I've had my first aquaracer since 2013 that I still love as a daily that can get banged up. I think it's time for a new one.... but which color?
