Also worth noting the Artifact mod that increases effectiveness of origin traits will double the stats that unsated hunger gives you. So you can take it into the new hardware PVP mode and instantly get 40 stability 120 handling and 120 reload.
Glad to know there's other Targeted redaction enjoyers! I went with an Envious assassin + Destabilizing rounds at first but now I've been using a Triple tap + Frenzy roll. The Max handling and reload speed from Frenzy solves a lot of the 120's issues. For a more consistent feel I went with Fluted barrel and Flared magwell with a reload MW but I think I might change it to Arrowhead and a stability MW to have a more stable gun and land those crits more easily for triple tap procs.
I hate using 120s in PvE. the reload is the issue. I think hand cannons and machine guns should all get a flat reload speed buff across the board. I don’t get what they make it so punishing.
I use Optative with Deconstruction and Attrition Orbs or this hand cannon. I like the origin trait and being able to make more orbs means constant devour.
When I seen the thumbnail "spare rations"(also has focus fury)..! Redaction is probly my most changed perk combos weapon and then there's the range or handling dilemma. Stopped enhancing the perks because sods law drops me a similar version (here we go again). Maybe it's time to settle and delete all future drops straight away. I've been using Bottom Dollar with feeding frenzy/explosive payload it reloads faster than some of my 140s and hits like a truck. I'll definitely have to try this with destabilizing rounds though
You have good taste! 120's really do feel awesome. My only issue with our current crop? They're pretty bad stats wise. It bugs me that Igneous Hammer is a stat monster before you even add in some of the bonuses from the perks available! I went with Steady Rounds & Outlaw on my Targeted Redaction. Didnt think of Envious Assassin, thats a fantastic shout. I want to see more 120's with 50-ish Stability base, THEN add in perks like Zen Moment, Rapid Hit, Envious, Enlightened Action etc to make up for Stability, Reload, Handling. Even with all that said? Targeted Redaction has to be the best Legendary 120 after Igneous.
My personal hate is the reload speed on 120s they mostly feel terrible. In fact all weapons need a reload buff. I don't notice too much with stats as I'm on mouse n key, not sure if that's why or I'm totally clueless lol
@@DudditsII you're not wrong! Reload buff would definitely be good across the board! I get that weapons in general need strong areas & weak areas but 120's especially seem to get it pretty bad & the trade off is Range & Damage? With the Range changes it doesn't really make much difference anymore & impact/damage? If you can hit an entire magazine before a 120 is half way!? It's not exactly the greatest boon 😄 I'd love to see a 120, probably an Exotic tbf. Have something like Focused Fury & Rapid Hit built in so you're getting rewarded for being accurate with increased damage & the buffs to Stability & Reload from R.H. Armour Piercing Rounds on High Impact Weapons should pierce Barrier Shields too but I doubt that'll happen 😄 The whole M&K vs Controller? It's definitely noticeable on some weapons/archetypes more. Annoyingly for me it does seem a few of the weapons I like get hit quite badly with lower Stability 😑
Love your builds and creative ideas, mate. Really do appreciate them! Really curious on this one, though, as to why you would choose focused fury over frenzy? Seems frenzy is simply superior in every way. 15% over the whole mag vs 20% over half, *if* you manage the whole first half as precision shots. Frenzy active in most all circumstances, as well as while stowed, where FF deactivates when switching between weaps. Further, frenzy offers 100 reload, which is simply huge on a 120. Additionally, you have to really empty the whole mag, every time, to get the full benefit. Again, frenzy active on every bullet. Maybe I'm missing something, but I don't see a single instance where FF beats frenzy, unless you simply are too far away from a single target to proc it.
Sorry on that last bit, distance doesn't affect frenzy. Just pop a shot or take a hit twice, anywhere, and you're in :) FF: Upon scoring 50% of Magazine as Precision Hits: 20% increased damage for 11 ↑12 seconds. Can be refreshed by scoring enough precision hits. Stowing or reloading will reset the precision counter. Buff persists through stow if active. ↑Buff Duration is increased to 12 seconds. Frenzy: After having maintained a state of dealing or receiving damage every 5 ↑5 seconds for at least 12 seconds: 15% Increased damage, +100 Handling, and +100 Reload Speed for 7.2 seconds. Dealing or receiving damage refreshes the buff duration. ↑Damage Timer USED TO BE increased to 5.5 seconds, but is currently not working.
hi thanks mate. Focused fury and envious deals just feels really nice. Frenzy is 15% and can be inconsistent in some activities. However I could'nt argue with frenzy as it is a solid perk
Focused fury I can see for lost sector champions but I would rather pick Explosive payload or Frenzy for damage and the badly needed reload! I have it available to craft but had not thought about it😉💯
The reload on the 120s will just get you killed in PVE. I can make it work with Solar Hunter but I wish there were ways to speed it up more. The animation gets old. Cool looking weapon though.
