Fun-Fact: The person who voiced Queen Vanessa also voiced Mustache Girl. I sure wish that she would have voiced Neyla from Sly 2 Band of Thieves. Also, another Fun-Fact: Yesterday was Sly 2's 17th anniversary.

The original lore was that Vanessa had a cursed book.

I think moon jumper had something to do with this as well. Not to mention took Queen Vanessa's soul to keep it for himself. And Queen Vanessa's body now serves as a puppet controlled by Moon Jumper.
