That's far too late now. Half those stars have quit acting, retired, and passed on. Maura is at GH. Kelley Menighan is caring for a handicapped person she adopted with DS. If those two are not back there is no ATWT. Not with two of the female vets passed on in Liz Hubbard and Kathryn Hayes.

If, theoretically, As The World Turns, Guiding Light, or Capitol were to be revived (or rebooted), yes, there would be questions. (1) Such as whether or not any of the surviving actors and actresses from the original series would still be available to return to reprise favorite characters on those beloved shows. (2) And how the shows would tackle addressing stories between the original series and newly revived series. I believe it could be done, even though the shows would have their work cut out for them. Yes, Guiding Light might've been in trouble in its last couple of seasons it was on the air. Part of me wished CBS and P&G could've pushed for a 6-month extension. Capitol, which ended on a cliffhanger, and was replaced by The Bold & The Beautiful, was years ahead of its time, and had it not been canceled, I'm sure it'd have been one of the greatest shows there ever was. As The World Turns was getting better near the end of its long run. A thought that hit me a while back was if P&G (Procter & Gamble) had allowed CBS to acquire full ownership or a 50% ownership stake, I believe ATWT would still be on, or lasted a few additional seasons, or maybe even migrated to CBS All Access turned Paramount+ streaming service. I also miss seeing other long-running soaps, including Another World, All My Children, and One Life To Live. Loving turned The City, and Santa Barbara were good show too. Search For Tomorrow, The Edge Of Night, Love Of Life, and Dark Shadows were also good shows back in their day. Even if cancelled soaps were unlikely to be revived or rebooted, I could see surviving episodes being digitally remastered, and Peacock, Paramount+, and Netflix acquiring rights for those shows to be available in the form of reruns for future generations to watch, and soap fans enjoying their favorite episodes once more. Other than B&B still being around, we still have The Young & The Restless, General Hospital, and Days Of Our Lives still on as well. The latter migrating to streaming.
