I agree. He was still a top 10 quarterback last year. Anyone that blames him didn’t watch the games. Offensive line injuries and bad coaching is what killed this team last season. Without Brady the Bucs would’ve won 3 or 4 games in 2022. It’s just easy to blame the guy because he’s not there anymore.

When did Baker beat Bama or atleast battle with them even in his heisman season. I agree he was screwed out of the browns but let me guess the panthers that wasn’t his fault right even though he had the Choice to go there!! He could’ve stayed in Cleveland and started for 11 games until Watson came back and would’ve gotten more offers and opportunity to show he still has it and isnt washed and he’s a team player. Hence more offers but move past that, who was more valuable in LA him or Mcvay. Mcvay is a Super Bowl winning coach so it’s no way Baker lead his team all by his dangerous feeling self. I don’t hate baker but the Trask hate is just down right ugly and horrible as a fan.

@@dominicturner4624 Can't have much of an opinion on Trask. There's this real thing called, "small sample size." If you want to put a lot of stock in his college career (most know better tha that), but if we do, COME ON, Baker's college career won him the Heisman. Do you think Trask ever got a MENTION from anyone IN THE WORLD thinking he should get the Heisman? :-) You're simply ignoring too many circumstances regarding Baker. Has any QB in the history of the game had to learn this many systems (mostly horrible systems at that) in such a small amount of time? And implement them surrounded by 3rd string linemen and targets. How can you just ignore these facts?

@DaveTMTMTL I don’t discredit his messed situations but he played a role in that. He could’ve shut it down after he hurt his shoulder he didn’t. So that’s on him for making that choice he already proved to Cleveland he was good he chose to bet on himself and it didn’t workout. He had a hell of a lot of taken in Cleveland. And one playoff appearance idk man kinda shaky especially with the run game he had and he chose the panthers was it ideal no but again his choice. He can’t make a choice and when things go bad ohh it’s everyone’s fault but mine. He knew panthers sucked and he chose them to stick it to the Browns. Kyle did finish top 4 in heisman voting and his class that year was more household names than when baker won his point is I get it Baker is good and solid but Trask could be a Steve young or even a burrow or Herbert and can help actually lead us for years to come. Kyle can have a Brock Purdy year but stay healthy. I’ll leave you with this just because he’s an unproven commodity doesn’t mean he isn’t a commodity.

@@dominicturner4624 Well said. I'm just frustrated that so many people ignore Baker's circumstances. I can't imagine there's EVER been a QB who's had to learn this many systems (HORRIBLE systems at that) in so little time. Or had to play surrounded by 3rd string O-linemen and receivers... The guy's had ONE even CLOSE to normal season. And that was on a team with no discipline or strategy. All he did in that one season is go 11-5 with a playoff win IN THE STEELER'S HOUSE! Then damn near beat KC (if the D hadn't F'd it up). And during the last 12 games of that season, only 3 QBs IN THE NFL had a higher QB rating. And everyone just acts like that never happened, because his circumstances then turned upside-down. He's not old. He's healthy again. He's gained a couple of years of experience (on how NOT to do things). If put back in a halfway normal situation, why wouldn't he excel like he did the last time he had any kind of chance? (Please don't say the Panthers were a fair chance. That team was decimated by injuries, and in dire need of a new HC. And Baker had only a few weeks of alternating with the ones to get ready for that circus. Which is actually more than he's usually had.)

Trask is balling 🤷🏾‍♂️. He's not a bad QB. And NO he was not in a real competition with Gabbart. That was never in the plans. Him getting a shot after Brady has ALWAYS been the plan. Its open competition with even reps. He and Gabbart NEVER had even reps whatsoever.
