@@Mr_Kiwi 2bricks sells his instructions at rebrickable, this ship for $4. There, the parts are estimated at $78. I sent the parts list to bricklink, sorted out the pieces I already had, and bought the remainder mostly as used. I usually have several ships in the order backlog, so I can't tell you how much I spent on just this one. Can confirm it looks great. I will build any more ships of this scale he adds instructions or are simple enough for me to recreate! Good luck!

I have been making a lot of this ships in your micro fleet series. And I looked at the scale of a cr 90 and did the calculations to find the length of this ship and if a cr 90 is 150m then it would be 48 studs long but this model is only 39 studs. I did see someone say the tantive was only 126m but your model is still to small by 1studs which isn't bad but I was hoping you would explain this to me thanks.
Yeah Im pretty sure I went with the 126m number and I think I may have just miscalculated the length of my model- I’m pretty sure I intended for it to be 42 studs long unless it was a proportional issue and I just decided to shrink it a little overall to match with certain elements I liked. I designed it almost 3 years ago so it’s hard to recall exactly what went through my head.
No worries! Yeah I think the tantive IV was like the 5th or 6th ship I ever made for the fleet So I was definitely still finding my rhythm with it- these days everything is to the stud or less for the most part :)
@@2bricks I have found that it would be 40 studs for 126m before I said 42 but I matched wrong and 48 for 150m I edited my original commit to fix that but I thought I'd tell you just in case you didn't see it. I also commented on a star wars pro's channel about the correct length so when I find out I'll tell you. By the way on my first comment it said you hearted it but it does not show this my phone. Though I'd tell you cause I thought it was weard. I think it's probably just cause I edited the text. R.I.P heart
That is incredible - I had no idea! Just googled it and you’re absolutely right! Do you know if that’s a more recent retcon in the new canon? I felt like they talk about it being the same ship in the revenge of the sith behind the scenes
The Tantive IV flies over camera and then you see the star destroyer afterwards :) JJ abrams is really good at little visual callbacks I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s the very last ship we see in episode 9 - that would be really cool I think 😎
@@2bricks oh crap yeh, honestly something i would expect abrams to do, maybe our heros are in a tantive 4, flying away as a first order destroyer is blowing up behind them, now that would be a callback xD
