So excited about the eventual Tulip Show in spring as well! It's going to be magnificent! I am enjoying the Winter so far though, the slowing down and resting pace of the last month has been really nice and a stark contrast to the general chaos of spring. The more I pay attention to them, the more I appreciate the beauty in each season. It's been so nice, learning to not wish away the days.

@@GardenGoddessTarot Definitely not trying to wish away days. Love the "hermit" season (more than hot summer) but sometimes I have to whine and complain 🙂Sun and blue skies even if cold make up for it .

Yeah I was really so not into it for the longest time....I've come a full 180 degrees on it. It's wild. (Haha...pun) But yeah I have no idea how it got off marketing itself as a beginner deck.... unless you already know tarot there isn't much there to go on in the book. I'll have to look into this unofficial guide, I had not heard about it! Thanks! xx

@Shauna Rae Tarot Yay! Of course! I mention it whenever I can because it helped me a lot in understanding this deck.

@Garden Goddess Tarot Glad to help! Yeah I think maybe the thought process was "modern = accessible = beginner", which isn't the case. It's got a lot of symbolism and concepts from other systems and if you know then you can notice them but if this had been my first deck I don't know that I would have liked it as much.

Hey Barbara! Haha I guess my best explanation is years of practice, I am also usually a fan of smaller (more shuffleable) decks, so that helps. I'll also say that it's not uncommon for cards to fly all over the place, I just have the benefit of being able to edit those bits out! haha! xx

Aw yes! You've got excellent taste! I am also surprised that I don't see these decks making the rounds, I guess it's a function of there being SO many new decks on the market these days. Which is both a blessing and a curse for us tarot lovers! And don't worry, I'll do my best to share tidbits of the Marseille study as we go along! xx

I don't think I've got a specific designated video about it yet, I'm sure I casually reference it every so often but for the life of me I can't remember which video's it's in! haha! Perhaps once we're closer to it's end I'll do a video dedicated to it, and what I got from it. It's not too complex though, mostly just tracking the decans using their associated tarot cards each ten days, and I personally cross reference the astrological associations of the cards and the hermetic titles (or Thoth Keywords too) and see what that means to be based on that season or time of the year. It all aligns rather well, from my experience so far, so it's been a worthwhile endeavor. Plus when doing readings it can help if you ever want to look into timing and more predictive stuff.
