Wonderful warm funny human being. Pure joy to watch. I didn't stop smiling for a week after I'd seem him perform at Buxton. The happiness he brought to people's lives! God bless.
Wonderful. I am soo lucky going to see him 18/11/2017 at the Alhambra Bradford. 4th time seen him live. Bless you Ken , thanks for all the joy you have given us.
Occasionally the world throws up a comedy genius. I feel sorry for those people who were never able to see this happiness spreader in real life. I was lucky to see him on the London Palladium in the 60's God love you, Ken. You were given a great gift. Have a look at Ken Dodd's "This is your Life" to see how his fellow comics appreciated him.
Sad day yesterday. Nice guy, true legend and I'll be sorely missed. I went to quite a few of his shows, you never had any idea when they were going to finish. The man just did not want to stop. Kept going like the energizer bunny.
Can't believe it's been two years today since you left us, miss you and love you, Thank you for all the laughter and happiness, wherever you are your gone but most certainly never forgotten Doddy ❤️🙏🌹
He was fantastic at the Cliffs. Every seat was filled and even the staff members lined the walls to watch him. He held the audience far longer than the bladder tolerances of many of the older generation who went to see him
I had a little interaction with him to, he said something about how he's still good looking then paused, then when no one whistled he said it again to induce someone whistling at him, i whistled and he said " I hope that was a woman" :P
Throughout my life he made me laugh so hard that my stomach hurt never again will there be a better comedian like Ken Dodd absolutely loved the man r.i.p
The King of comedy has left us. There will never be another like him. He gave so much happiness to the world, and lived a full and successful life. He will be remembered every time the word " Happiness " is mentioned. Farewell old chum .
Amazing achievement to be doing stand-up at 90! 😀 An inspiration! 👌 Funny till the very end! 😂 Thanks for the memories Ken! 👍 So sad to hear his passing 😢
God bless you sir Ken Dodd there will never be enyone like sir Ken Dodd ever since I was a kid iv seen him on the box many time he as me in stitches all the time god bless you sir Ken Dodd yours Alan johnson.
The last giant has fallen , the end of an era ,he always joked about staying on the stage longer than anyone else because making people laugh was what kept him going ,he certainly outlasted all the rest ,no laughter tonight in nottyash .
Wish more people of my age appreciated the class of comedy he presents... nowadays people only laugh when " comedians" take the mick out of others and just swear alot...
I used to love Ken Dodd and I was lucky enough to meet him several times. He was a funny kind down to earth normal man and it’s a great comedy loss. Tfs
I loved Ken and Anne, I used to work in a Theatre and did the pictures of all the bands and acts that would visit. I remember sitting in the green room with them well past 2am. There will never be another like him
@@LadyLikeables I'm really sorry to hear you lost your job, hopefully when or if things get back to what we can call normal you will get back in there.
I'm lucky enough to be the photographer at the theatre and got to film him, I also got to go back stage and meet him after the show, we sat for well over an hour just chatting. He is a lovely man
David Wardle oh, come on! He boasted and joked all his life about his fancy footwork with HMRC. He even pulled a stunt on his deathbed. People who avoid paying tax have lost their “loveable rogue” sheen now we have all seen how valuable the NHS is.
Little sad to see him at this stage - Lost that lovely fast witty delivery and steamroller of non-stop gags. Saw him at the Congress, Eastbourne 3 times years ago. Absolutely brilliant. Sat in the front row once and he called me "fish face" lol
LINDSAY ROGERS The pharmaceuticals, MONSATO now Bayer pay shares for the GPs to prescribe their hybridised wheat to make us ill and dependant on their toxic medication, that is how the NHS is used and abused to poison us , to depopulate and get rid of the old in nurses homes and ethnic minorities, so they carry on printing money and arming USA to take over our homeland in Palestina, Syria and America. It takes one idiot to know another idiot.
The tax dodger performed at a Charity event I helped organise. His fee was staggering, cash in hand. In addition, he demanded Rolls Royce to and from the railway station. He was as funny as a migraine.
My mate was the cook in Alder Hey hospital in the 70s. He appeared to "cheer the kids up". A nurse asked him to sing and he refused because his fee didnt cover it!
Escaped out the old folk's home/geriatric ward and forget to put his false teeth in. This is simply babbling senility, and as a result far funnier than when he had his wits and faculties about him. Which isn't difficult.
