I do not see Ptahotep as teaching a "democratic" ethic, since he lived in a theocracy ruled by a single pharaoh that he never questioned; aside from that and his emphasis on the male child (not surprising) of the family, I love this audiobook!!!!!!!! Thanks for the download!!!!!!!!!! 👍🏻💪

He did mention that he eventually denounced the thrown. "Never questioning" the Pharoah sounds more like a survival tactic than a way of life because those with power use their power and don't like to feel disrespected in any way. Like how you'd be careful around a lion and you'd make sure you either have food for him or avoid him when he's hungry. Hope that makes sense. He didn't worship the Pharoah, he respected the power he held over the nation. Meaning, no matter how wise I am, this man can tell a grown man to spear me in the face and they will do it whether or not I was correct

First of all let me say thank you for sharing. However, regarding all these wise people in the world and not one can explain how we came to be with concrete evidence. Also, saying that God will punish the corrupt obviously isn't true because for thousands or maybe even millions of years the evil and corrupt has not only prevailed but is running the world without impunity. That being said, how is any of this knowledge helping people to break free from the constraints of tyrannical men that limits their ability to live a more fulfilling and authentic life style.

It's up to the individual to get to their higher self. This is just a tool for us to use. Just like any other ancient manuscripts or txt . Really as we evolve we are supposed to adding to these txt All spiritual traditions have something impeccable that's applicable to our lives. You can't fix the world. I can't fix the world but guess what?. We can fix ourselves. You'll continue to run in place thinking you can fix the world. I filter in the good and I filter out the bad. I continue to educate myself and get to the highest version of myself .

Sun of HERU Do you really think there was only one person who knew that language? Do you not know that the Africans have taught many nations and educated a few in their metaphysics? Some of these nations, who were younger in comparison to kemet, may have used some of their languages to form their own (ex: sumerians and Assyrians, etc) and some of those root words still exist today. The hieroglyphics are just pictographs whereas the oral language still exists in some form. Language as we know it came from the medu neter in some form and has changed with cultural influences of other nations.

Wow they copied this in the Bible ... thank you I am learning. I always told my people I feel like something is missing.... I feel like something is missing in this Christian Religion. I always felt a void. Something was drawing me in another direction to fill the void. I been searching for 5-6 years. Every time I saw the Egypt teachings I ran because I was told it is pagan. People fear what they don’t understand. No matter how hard I tried to ignore the teachings of my ancestors something draws me. My mind steady wonder of the void. I said I need the knowledge of my ancestors. Not knowing nothing I call to God to my ancestors .... Meditation and I speak in a language I believe is of my ancestors I am seeking to understand now. This gift to speak in the tongues of my ancestors. I wish I knew some one can translate it. It sounds like the ancient language. I been having this gift for years. I ask for it and it was given. I am learning and seeking more of Metu Neter and Ptah the teachings all of it. I been Meditating not fully understanding how. But what I have been doing working some how
