+HyperJet Keep in mind that they're QA Testing, not actually playing the game while fapping with their third hand to the glorious coming nude mods like I will, what?
+shahadjz2 i apologize for all the perverted comments these people are posting, shahadjz2. As a 19-year-old male, let me tell them: YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE A PERVERT TO BE A MAN.... ye
Sorry to be part of the grammar police ( yes we do punctuation now too ) but you do know that you could have easily avoided that colon and made your comment much more effective? Just put quotations around it next time. Grammar police always here to help. ;)
What an idiot, don't they rehearse these interviews. That dunce should of said "And a man that needs no introductions, Todd fucking Howard ladies and gentlemen".
+YlakerranJatka The man was like the Bill Gates/Howard Hughes of pre war America, and he attended the Institute, so I'm expecting some references to him as notable alumnus.
At most you'll find a copy of FONV in a trash can next to a desk in some room where they put scrapped tech. More than likely there will be zero references to FONV in FO4.
+OfficeBum Don't mean to be offensive about it, but non-American English is rather inefficient, I've found. There are a lot of extra letters in words that seem to add no value (colour/color, programme/program, catalogue/catalog, faeces/feces, oestrogen/estrogen, quarrelled/quarreled, jewellery/jewelry, and all the various words in these and other categories).
The fact I don't see any Doom fans complaining about the lack of Doom on Fallout videos whilst I see loads of Fallout fans complaining on Doom videos probably says a lot about this community lol
+The Gamer Dragon I was so excited when I saw the title. I thought it was a "Making of" documentary. Totally not watching the video now that I know the truth.
I'm happy that they don't show any new gameplay, because then I would get wayy too overhyped and my predicitions would be too big and when I finally get to play the game, it's a let down. Same has happened with many games this year and I don't want it to happen with Fallout 4
Kudos to hearing that this team really put their hearts into making the game. From just looking at all the concept art and they all being so dedicated to the Fallout name, I honestly cannot wait for my adventures into a post-apocalyptic Boston. *applauses*
Am I the only one who noticed that not only with the brighter primary colors but the fact that there are trees and stuff like that everywhere, the doesn't destroyed. It just looks a bit run down. I'm worried that there won't be that atmosphere of dread and crushing emptiness even when you are around others. That was my favorite part of the game series.
As a general rule I don't pre order but I am going to buy this game on Steam long before it comes out. Looks like you guys put in a lot of hard work and love in to this project. Can't wait till November
That is one thing I truly love about Bethesda, and you guys can argue with me if you want but their attention to detail and sticking to the original Fallout one design and overall concept and the idea of how Fallout made you feel and caring that over to the best of their ability in to this game. I know a lot of people don't like Fallout 4 but I think it's really a great game at the end of the day. It's better than most I like Fallout 3 a hell of a lot more and had a way better story and felt more like fall out but hey but I love being able to build and all the items in the game having meaning being useful and not carrying around junk for no reason to be able to build your weapons and armor was amazing and reminded me...it harkens back to Morrowind and I love that thank u Bethesda 4 making such wonderful games.
8:12 Classic Bethesda: I remember Todd talking about this idea in a Skyrim preview- of having the "Grand scale" and a huge open world to explore, but also focusing on the details of the small things, which he displayed by picking up a flower off the ground and looking at it in detail.
Fallout 3 is like a game of art, but still a playable and enjoyable game. The monochrome and the color of it makes it "artsy" and it's really cool to see that type of design in a video game.
3 Things this game needs to be amazing: 1. Loading times are minimal to non-existent. If there's a loading time like GTA 5 on PS4, then have minimal loading times throughout the game, fine with me, although needs to be far less than Skyrim or Fallout 3, and with that extra memory, I hope so. 2. No save-game bugs. They need to be gone. Trillion-times check over this, we don't want save-game bugs. 3. UI Responsiveness. This is the only thing that I truly, truly care about in a game is how responsive the UI is. I really hope the UI is amazing.
The interviewer's question to Jeff at around the 12:00 mark was very interesting, regarding Bethesda's overall corporate culture and and family-like atmosphere -- they definitely sound like the anti-Konami, and it just makes me appreciate them all the more for it.
Thanks to you, the game is just awesome! I loved Fallout 3 game, but this is even better! I am so hooked :)! In particular, landscapes, cities and buildings ... great to venture there!
I don't know why, but it seems surreal to me that these giant game decisions like setting and which city are just product of regular discussions like I have with my friends where the game is set. I wonder how the game would've turned out if they for some reason picked a different city. So much possibilities with this franchise. A shame that we will get only one every decade.
Now this is dope. Wouldn't mind seeing a video showcasing nothing but concept art for Fallout 4. Hope there is a behind the scenes documentary on Fallout 4.
Don't worry search up tamriel online it's a mod for skyrim that let's u play multiplayer it's still very early days for it still is fucking amazing and it will happen to fallout 4
things i love about fallout 4: being able to build big setlements and trade propperly, weapon customization, power armor customizatoin. i really love those things
+Louis Bilverstone probably no coincidence, cause there would be no other reason, to split the video in two parts, that get released the same time. +Joshcoshbagosh 1337 = leet = elite
Really pleased they decided to have a more vibrant color palette this time. Probably one of my biggest gripes with 3 was just how green and brown everything was.
Man I remember back in June 2015 when the Fallout social media accounts posted the please stand by image, I was super hyped, I knew an announcement of Fallout 4 was imminent and man that reveal trailer was so good, the soundtrack by Inon Zur, still gives me chills 🙌 I must have re watched it at least 30 times!! Fallout 4 was so good, so many memories! Happy 25th anniversary Fallout 👏👏👏👏👏😊😊😊😊
Todd sounded almost scared to say B movie goofyness but thats part of the charm of fallout. It's a perfect blend of the serious nature of post appocalypse environments and the outragous humour of B movie's.
+Omega Scorpio the overall storyline of FO3 and Skyrim (the water thing and that dragon stuff) was garbage. The guy clearly doesn't know how to write good stories so I guess we'll just have to see.
Bethesda has NEVER let me down. Never. I have well over 1000 hours in their games. And as an artist I truly appreciate the team's attention to details. Bethesda understand that when we want to get lost in a world that the world needs to feel weird. They knock it out of the park every time.
Todd Howard is literally the Scarecrow from the Wizard of Oz and the host of this video is Dorothy. You know the part when she says goodbye to everyone and then she says "I will miss you most of all scarecrow". The other guys must be pissed off he gets the most attention even though they are big parts of the game's production aswell. XD
I will say Bethesda gas really done it for Fallout 4. I know it is going to be so great, including the settlements. I know this may sound crazy, but I actually have drawn out the basic for my first settlement on a piece of paper. Just where I'm going to put things from what I saw in the video. You guys keep going at it.
Hey Bethesda I preordered Fallout 4 with hopes that it will be good, I think everyone who has forked over $60 blindly for a game deserves to see some more gameplay. Don't get me wrong, I still am very excited, but all you gave us was an e3 demo and a couple of montages. We deserve to at least know a little about what we bought.
Mrmattyplays is gonna do a 400 hour full analysis of the water in Todd Howards bottle on how much its gonna effect the story in Fallout 4, i know im his Ranga Hair.
Bethesda Softworks I would love to see a behind the scenes, how the game was created sometime. Something similar to the Lord of The Rings behind scenes. Obviously it's not a movie, but just seeing the before and after progress and seeing the art work creation, the process of how everything goes together. That would be great, not only from a super fan of the Fallout Games / Skyrim but also from a fan of the industry. At this point that might be hard I guess considering the game is pretty much finished, but in the future I think that would be an awesome idea. A Behind the Scenes of some kind for it. '
