Was a tough time to be a Hibby but also a great time in terms of togetherness. That Hands off Hibs day was unbelievably emotional, even for a young 15 year old.The hampden Final 91 is probably my finest moment as a Hibby. Just incredible. The team that wouldn't die. GGTTH
Interesting and entertaining programme although I clicked on it expecting it to be about the Turnbull team of the 1972 period. That was a great side to watch.
I was not at the final, but I did attened the celebrations at Easter Road with my little brother & Dad, I was in the front seated area near the disabled row, Micky Weir taken my little brother from my dadshands and sat him on top of the Skol Cup, there was loads of photographers taking photos -->>
Didn't Hibs get to the League Cup Final in 92/93 but lose to a half overhead kick by Sally McCoist? Hibs seem to build a really good Team every 10-15 years
Iam tying to trace any of the several photographs that were taken by the photographers that where there that day, but I've not had any luck, I managed to get a hold of a VHS copy of: Hibernain the team that wouldn't die- its a great documentory leading upto the Skol cup and has highlights of the league cup 1972, also has footage of the presentations at Easter Road, if anyone can help out in tracking down the photographers, I would appreciate any info THANKS
Big Team Big Cup??? Which cup is that jambo? And are you talking about Lithuania FC??? Why do you have a scottish flag at the neck of your kit??? Wouldn't a Lithuanian flag be a bit more suitable considering most of your team is Lithuanian? Hibernian 1 Lithuania 0. PS: Wee team Nae defeats, Big Team nae wins well said! We're just a wee team that is yet to lose and is top of the league and has beaten Celtic, Rangers & Hearts. Hibernian FC pride of Edinburgh!
