Lucy is seriously the best girlfriend, Tim is lucky to have her and vice versa. And I love how they all work together as a team to get Tim a better job
@@azlin_irwan2875 they started dating with lucy so he had to get a job that was out of lucy's command chain and he got a random desk job at the station and hated it
The look on Nolan's face tells me he just realized what is going on between Tim and Lucy. Tim only asking Lucy if she is okay but no one else, should be a dead give away.
I really don't think so. There was no way not literally everyone was asking why Tim would ever take a desk job. In the moment he applied for it they had to tell everyone. But it's so bad we didnt see!!
At this point everyone knows. That’s why they’re helping Lucy because they know Tim hates a desk job and can’t go back to his old position if he wants to be with Lucy.
@@Chefcurly88 Nolan always have a way figured out last moment but funny way.. Nolan, Bailey, Angela saw it too.. Tamera, Greg, Angela, Bailey and Nolan knows ... Hope next episode 🙏 be good...
I love that they're all helping. Tim would do the same for them. I really wonder if everyone knows about them now. Honestly at this point I wouldn't be surprised if when they do announce their relationship, then everyone says "duh" "we already knew that."
I think they already know, at this point, either Lucy told them or they were aware, just watch episode 5x16 where they have the Radio Group Chat, if they don't know now, they will in this episode.
It’s cool to see how far a long they’ve come, they know so many other cops now, and even calling some by their first names, including Nolan here calling Tim “Tim” to his face
Well they are off duty and they are friends (I mean if you save one of your own from cartel together you are bound to be friends). As long as during work hours Nolan keeps subordination all is good (and he will he always calls Tim sit at work)
I think the joke is they literally everyone knew but Nolan. Lmao he’s such a friend he’s willing to help without knowing why and his reaction at the end shows that. Harper is clearly in the know. Lopez been knew. Bailey probably understood after seeing them react. Was just a subtle nod to everyone knowing. But i agree, wish we could of seen more reactions and depth
@@flyboy152 obviously James is the only husband that's not in any type of law enforcement or firefighter. So he's obviously just standing there for moral support
@@wesliesmith498 Yes, he is just standing around clueless, I guess offering moral support. 😀 I was just pointing out that he’s her husband now, not her boyfriend.
I just love this show. I think it's fantastic. I think it's great, because it has everything in it. Drama and a bit of comedy. All the actors and actresses have a good working chemistry with each other.
It makes sense that none asked why bc they all know 1. Tim is an in the action kind of guy so desk will never be for him and 2. Tim would never ask for help himself 😭
I’m assuming they all know..😂😂😂😂😂 he spoke with his boss and worked a desk job and even Smitty was poking fun at.. She is going above and beyond for her man they know 😊
Angela obviously knows because she was the first one to ask Tim if he had a thing for Lucy back in season 4 and was teasing him about her. Nyla I can see knowing because she's a detective and can obviously pick up on the little things.
The big question now is if we'll be seeing all of those Metro guys now. I believe Nyla said they travel as a pack, so logically if Tim shows up then the rest of them will.
@@HariSeldon913 Well, only if they’re on an op together. Tim is their liaison to Mid-Wilshire, so he still spends time working out of that station. *** Spoiler *** Not that any of that applies now, since he was kicked out of Metro.
I like these scene, not only because they want to Help Tim, but how Nolan let's his head hung als Nyla said to him that Remmington can't go into Motors.😆
Serious question: did not a single one of these people question why they had to do this in the first place? I mean did no one question WHY Tim took that desk job in the first place…..😂
no, because when Tim "you okay?" every single time and gives this reassuring look i lose it! he is so good for her, always to check up on his girlfriend, despite not being yet open about their relationship!
Tim have the skill in Metro and good job for Tim..but Metro works overtime and bet traveling much. Hope Tim be save and see spare time with Chenford together.
The Joke is gonna be them at the End cause the women have figured it out cause women just know. And Bailey would tell Nolan. So they might as well just tell them cause these are all cops.
They all now the women probably completely sure at first and then they talked to to each other and really knew. Then they all told the guys who weren’t far off but no one going to say anything because they are nice like that.( and the women threatened castration if they did)
My favorite part is even if he wasn't able to success out exactly what was going on because this is probably like 10 minutes into the episode or whatever, he knew by Lucy's face alone that's _something_ was up
Tim come and all evidence are hidden bwahaha... i think Tim come to Nolan house just looking for Lucy becoz he knows from grup text that everyone has a plan to visit Nolan including lucy for air conditioning
Could any one tell if they all know about Chenford or not it was kinda of confusing and the only I would think might know is Angela even if they didn’t tell her
I think they know bc theres no other reason he wouldve switched jobs randomly to something he'd hate and lucy would be the one trying to find a work around (cause if they dont know then theres no reason he couldnt just go back to a patrol sergeant). But I wish we got scenes where they found out (maybe if they actually dont know we'll get them soon) or esp Angela talking to Tim about the job change leading to him telling her about lucy
@@bessjones2596 yeah i feel like maybe they didnt know how to handle it or didnt have the screentime so they just breezed over it but then that made no sense bc they were keeping a secret for a reason, they were worried about being caught on their date so idk
Innocence was dripping from Lucy Chen’s beautiful eyes. If she ever decided to quit the force, she could ace it as a leading actress in a Steven Spielberg movie. Make Julia Roberts come off like Shannon Tweed.
I’m so confused. Does everyone know? The way Nyla and Lucy were interacting all episode, its implied that they all know…but why didn’t anyone say anything?? Come on, Rookie. Lift your game.
Not sure where else to post this since I don't know any discussion boards for the show. Annie Wersching who played Rosalind has just died of cancer. I'm betting that's why Rosalind had to get killed in her last appearance.
question do we all think that the group all know Tim and Lucy are in fact a couple? cuz as far as I see only Grey knows obviously in part from his own instinct and Tim having told him, if they do know it is strange that haven't articulated it in conversation with Chenford, right?
The entire Rookie family, both cops and their significant others working together like a real family ... PLEASE HAVE JOHN & BAILEY GET MARRIED AND STAYING ALIVE ❤️❤️❤️🔥🔥🔥🙏🙏🙏
I laugh cuz Tim and Nolan are standing next to each other and it hit me wait Lucy was in relationship with Nolan and now there close friends and she in relationship with Tim idk why but that made me laugh 😂
Ok a lot disappointed no morning after....after 5 freaking years, come on man. Second we missed everyone finding out....no teasing, no Lopez or Aaron comments....please that just sucks big time.
I just finished season 2 so this maybe wrong but is the Hicks person they mention a reference to Commander Hicks from the show "SWAT"? That'd be really cool.
The only thing i hate about this show, is not letting us see the announcement of the relationship to everyone; the realisation faces, the fake-surprise faces...ext 😩 I'm not gonna get used to their time jumps
This episode was a bit flat for me. As a Chenford, I felt cheated out of a morning after scene…no pillow talk?! We got the door shut in our faces last episode, so we deserved a follow up. Also, the writing just wasn’t realistic. No one is THAT comfortable with each other (especially coworkers) that they would come over uninvited and ask to use the laundry-room and to cook something using stuff from your fridge (especially with today’s grocery prices 😂). There was very little depth. I’m usually laughing or crying when I watch the Rookie, but this episode did not elicit an emotional response from me.
I think it’s weird the writers didn’t address co-workers finding out about Tim & Lucy’s official relationship status, which is the only reason Tim would have taken that desk job
So, having not seen the show, I gotta ask…is Bailey just unofficially part of the squad, that LAFD member who loves hanging with the LAPD and solving their internal problems?
Yall comments confuse me. Everyone should already know by this point their dating. Tim took a different position, just so he wouldn’t be dating someone under his wing. The whole point of this scene was for them to figure out a way to get him out of the job he hates and only took to keep dating Lucy.
