I think it is because we are on holidays, players are just playing either drunk or high asf, or maybe they are crying so much because they don't have loved ones that they can't actually see the screen, doing this kind of bs. Can't find any other rationale explanation, especially in smurf Q with plat players.

I feel like that would be me. I played 1 ranked game got absolutely smashed and it put me in provisional gold 3. Not sure how that make sense when I have only like 30 hours in the game.

I once checked my junglers match record while he was plat 2. He had 42 games in a row of negative KD and mostly really bad like 2,18 but somehow he gets carried enough to stay in plat. Its disgusting how those players don't get thrown down to iron or bronze where they should be

@@backbone93 hey man, just keep in mind that there’s players like me out there too who want to play ranked but suck lol. I promise I’m not doing it on purpose. Just wish the game would give people realistic rank instead of putting people with very little experience into players who’ve been playing since the start. Tbh tho there’s probably more smurfs than people with very little time in game like me so idk.

me too, I was diamond and got put into silver and was never able to get out, every 3rd game i got a yuumi or taric bot that followed the mid laner around all game. It is so scamed@@yorick_lover

Thats not how it works per se. More like an unintended result of bad MM system. The thing is the mmr of those players is actually silver gold, while a good smurf bronze silver player has a gold mmr. It results in these tragic situations ..

@@tenou213 RossBoomSocks sometime ago made a video about how Riot nonchalantly confirmed that the algorithm was designed to keep you permanently playing by keeping you hardstuck, so you have to grind more and more and more It doesn't look intuitive or reasonable but oh boy, League's all chat is the deepest shithole in videogames, so yeah, it actually works. @@jamesbaurus5928 6 months later but okay The thing is, the game doesn't know that Zwag is smurfing or that this is another account of his property, so while we know that Zwag skill is that of a GM or even a Challenger, the same matchmaking issue affects all the playerbase, good performing players intentionally getting brake checked by an algorithm designed to screw you over so you have to play even more grind. I'd rather lose because the other team was just better in the mechanics than being hampered because I get players that intentionally fucks with other people's games just for the sake of it.
