For people a little confused, Broker’s most likely part of a cult, judging by several in-Phighting universe posters Soda (one of the devs) has posted on her twitter. Medkit is probably working with said cult in exchange for safety from Blackrock and Katana is most likely a traitor to the cult.
/So Broker is affiliated with lost temple, and hates blackrock. /Broker seems to be recruiting the thieve's den brothers. /Broker hates Katana because he betrayed them, makes sense since katana was part of the lost temple. /Medkit is so screwed, he has work to do and god knows what will happen to him if he fails, also blackrock is after him since subspace probably asked for his name. /Skate is hiding someone important. /Blackrock is not what it used to be after the wars. /Where are the sword gods? /Broker knows about vine's curse Time to make theories.
I believe it's not subspace looking for medkit, I think someone else since he probably already knows what faction he went to Possibly Skateboard is hiding that person that Subspace wants also I have a small theory about why Illumina is not on good terms with Zuka Zuka kinda like breaks the fourth wall in-game though not story-mode, however, Illumina maybe suspect he knows something about it when he actually doesn't, Illumina focuses on making others stay in-script and not break character if I'm not wrong? So Illumina would suspect Zuka for it ig, also he would hate Broker tbh
Definitely Broker. When Slingshot uses the phone, it says "I sometimws watch you cook from the window" and if you go to the wiki page for Broker, head over to the trivia section, it says right there: "Sometimes Broker likes to watch Slingshot bake from the window"
as the totally real skateboard i can confirm i have been hiding many children in my basement (I think skateboard had a role in keeping scythe/rifle away from banland which could be why banhammer fucking HATES him)

Time for theories!!! Broker has known sword since sword was young. Skate either has a crush on someone or is actually hiding somebody. Broker dislikes bio graft. Broker despises katana for leaving lost temple. Banhammer and rocket make it clear that this person on the phone is the broker. Broker lost his sense of taste. Broker gives Shuriken a shady job offer. Med kit and the broker work together. Also, ghosdeeri is probably their boss. Broker is a fan of flipside. Subspace is looking for someone, possibly med kit. Broker is friendly with vine. yay
@teaboy0996 Lost Temple is a faction in the PHIGHTING universe, where the rich thrive. And basically factions are different groups in PHIGHTING politics. Ghostdeeri is a female NPC that tracks your stats (kills, deaths, rounds, etc.). Again, she has a personality as a godmother of a child (Lightblox) and a friend of Traffic Cone (the NPC that gives you titles). Flipside is the Idol group, aka Valk and Dom, the two characters that you see host the Phestivals. Broker is the person on the phone. Broker is basically a wanted criminal who is associated w/ Lost Temple. He'd show up is Phestivals as an NPC to be a lore teaser, but not much is known about him so far canonically.
At first I thought it was a random person, then thought it was Scythe, with how they have a "friendly" affiliation with both Sword and Medkit,but the dialogue "Boss isn't here today" which implies Scythe isn't the one on the phone, and that the only people who are under Scythe? Medkit and Broker, and also note, Katana's Dialogue is "threatening" since he is a "filthy traitor." Katana WAS. from Lost Temple.
Also the point of Broker saying that the boss is busy doing some harvesting makes sense due to Scythe being a serial killer and serial killers tend to harvest there victims organs
Perhaps the corruption he talks about is the one relating to Lost Temple? Maybe the government or the acolytes (might even be the same thing) is the corruption?
Yeah Broker is definitely talking about Scythe it confirms it when he says about her probably being busy because she’s harvesting she’s a serial killer so it makes sense that’s she’s harvesting which is mostly likely to be there organs or maybe there demon horns so she could display her victims serial killers tend to like taking stuff from there victims as an accomplishment of there kills
so heres what i got Meds after leaving Blackrock went to Lost Temple for help and now works for a shady corporation in exchange for protection. Medkit seems to not like this corporation and is trying to get away from them. The acolytes whoever they are are offering up their gears for Meds commision whatever this commision may be something big if theyre willing to give up their gears. Katana betrayed the corporation possibly because its the "corruption" hes talking about. Broker (or maybe the corporation itself) may want something from Skateboard or they are observing him. Broker wants a scout spy or something for a certain job which is why he attempted to hire Shuriken. Broker seems to have fighting experience or maybe hes the reason why the crime scene room exists. Edit: Sword may be more than just a Sword user and Skateboard may be something more than an idiot on wheels he might even have something big going on now heres some questions what happens if a person loses their gear whos the "boss"
Who's the boss? Lost Temple's leader maybe. Which is very likely to be Overseer. Also I Medkit doing shady stuff is true, but for protection, I didn't think that was the case but it fills some spaces. Shuriken dark arc is gonna be real lol, interesting plot.
@@judm3546 On a google doc, there's a QnA the devs answered, one of them mentions the 4 faction leaders and what they will be based out of. Overseer was one of them. The QnA also had info that Lost Temple has something to do with "Big guys and eyes." And then Soda retweeted an art on twitter that will soon be on the new Crossroads. The art is a poster advertising Lost Temple, with the Overseer eye as like the emphasis of it. So its just a theory, but Overseer is the Lost Temple faction leader. Not the final name though.
Time to explain some theories i know/made: There are 4 people who work in The Lost Temple Broker Lightblox Sword Medkit Formerly, Katana Broker is friends with Medkit due to their organization thingy Katana was labelled as a traitor for betraying The Lost Temple, but because it isn't controlled by the government, Katana isn't as wanted as Medkit is, as he left Blackrock, which instead is an organization controlled by a powerful government Skateboard might be hiding someone, it could be an upcoming Phighter or NPC, probably NPC though, the person could also be a part of Playground, but most likely neutral or anything Broker probably spies on everyone, mostly Slingshot, that explains how he knows a lot of things about everyone, or Medkit shares information with him about the Phighters he met, hoping that as some useful stuff for the late future Each region has a boss, Blackrock is probably the government themselves, the others still aren't confirmed though, but Ghosdeeri is probably Lost Temple's boss, as her pronouns are she/her and she literally lives with Lightblox Sword joined The Lost Temple while he was still not so strong, then he met Medkit and Broker there, and possibly Lightblox and Katana Broker has personal beef with Blackrock, similar to Medkit Broker hides in The Lost Temple or somewhere else to get away from Ban Hammer, and uses the Telephone to communicate with Medkit and other people he know in order to not be in the risk of getting put back to jail Broker and Zuka like each other as friends, although Rocket dislikes The Broker, Broker still likes him The Broker acts as a spy for The Lost Temple, spying on the other regions That's all i have

The Rocket one further supports number 3. 5. The receiver is considering offering Shuri a shady gig...interesting. 6. MED HAS A BOSS?! ACOLYTES?! COMMISSION?! WHAT?! (Guess he's not safe in any region) 7. The receiver is a Hatsune Mic-u fan. 8. Subspace is looking for someone. (Probably Meddy) 9. The receiver has seen Vinestaff's curse before.
As I stated in another comment, Mic-u is the OC of one of the testers added in as a (non canon) joke. Those posters won't be there when Crossroads revamps. So yeah the idols are just Flipside.

SKATE THEORY!- Of what broker said he SPECIFICALLY said.. “Hey, a little *birdie* told me you’re hiding someone *special*” this means, that some bird hybrid guy, or someone idk knows skateboards lil secret person. Yeah it’s definitely Subspace the reason that Broker responded to him saying that he doesn’t know who MedKit is due to them being in a deal of him doing something for them in return for his protection
