Performance of the Australian group The Temper Trap in Glastonbury 2010 with this great song Sweet Disposition I do not own the copyright, no earn money intent.
My first daughter was born in november 2009 and my wife was induced 2 weeks early. I spent a weekend driving back and forth to hospital and this song always seemed to be playing on the radio during the journeys....our beautiful daughter was indeed born 2 weeks early and when we drove home from the hospital with our daughter this song was playing as we turned the engine on in the car.....The line "never too soon" gets me every time.......music for me is always about a place and time in my life.......this song will always be special too me
this song is part of the top of the playlist of songs that made me want to stay alive back when i was only 14. i'll never forget it. music is powerful.
One of the best songs of the last 15 yrs. timeless classic that still produces goose bumps. I saw them in Brisbane supporting cold play in 2013. This performance was better.
A friend of mine saw the same tour in Melbourne. She said she remembers a Coldplay were pretty good, but she will never forget Temper Traps set. Reckons it changed her

I'll tell you a little story about this band, sorry about a long post. I heard this song in 2009, like a lot of people, and I thought what a nice melody and song structure and very nice vocals. So I bought their first CD (yeah CDs back then) and was really blown away and as someone with over 100,000 songs across ALL genres I can be hard to please. So I have now bought everything they've put out and really love their music. I discovered that while this song is really great they have sooo many other great tracks. Like many bands I like I cycle through what my current fave track is of theirs and it changes constantly which is a sign of a really good band. Some bands only have one good song and then that's it. I worry that people think that of this band but let me assure you they have a tremendous canon of great songs. So, as usual with me, I came back to them again after a short hiatus listening to other bands and music. It's crazy to me that they have even increased in my estimation, that doesn't happen often let me tell you, that's a rare breed of band that can do that to me. This is a great song no doubt about it and lots of bands would love to have written it but do explore their other stuff too. I've seen Dougy sing Trembling Hands live and I held my breath and found it extraordinary. The whole band is, they're multi instrumentalists and really know what they're doing and they gel as a band which I really love too. Their arrangements are really great and you can see they're into it. Dougy is such a good frontman, he has a really good stage presence and you can tell he means what he's singing (his facial expressions are really so good to watch). I wish this band the absolute best in all they do but please check out their other stuff too cuz there's so many gems in there. As an aside I actually like he's of Indonesian heritage and he's flying the flag, good for him, and us. Indonesia has a vibrant metal, hip hop scene that's great to see so let's celebrate that he's risen to the top and shown us it doesn't matter one bit where someone is from...we're all awesome. Take care in these troubled times, love to all of you.
My body starts to shiver everytime I hear this song , I've got goosebumps all over me and this is the reason why music can make you instantly happy !!! ...
It's 2020. Still in the midst of pandemic. Been tryin to watch live performances. And this one came across. Brought me back to the time when everything seemed okay. Used to watch this specific video every morning I'd gone to campus. While the fact was, I've misunderstood so much things. It led to heartbreak. But I manage to make peace with my past. And I got to watch this video in a new light. In an entirely different life narrative. Enjoying the music for the sake of it. It feels good :)
This song was used in a commercial here in the US and I loved it immediately. I hunted it down on line and found the official video, which is superb, and I haven't got tired of hearing it yet, nor do I expect to. The Indonesian connection is just sweet sauce, I love diverse musical tallent. We can't share this enough.

The scale of profesionalism in this song on a live is brilliant......many others rock bands just don't even climbe on this level from years...grat vocals , graet guitars and rhythm...congratulations....and respect . Rock on.....
Never gets old. Ripping the glades at all the Vermont big hills to this jam ( Magic mountain for life!). Freshies, cereal bowl, and Temper. Life was (is) good my friends!

Went to school with the lead singer and grew up same town he was always a truly a awesome humble sweet guy but never took any crap . Still catch up with them and his still the most sweetest genuine person you'd ever be blessed to know . They all are truly great guys
I swear I can stop listening to this iv been dulled down on smack and now clean and this tune is putting my neurological pathways in connect again and I'm weeping uncontrollably for the losses iv sustained Jesus you don't realise what it feels to be human until ur feeling again!!! clean and woke I miss my brother Marko passing
These are the type of songs that will be difficult to reproduce in its originality on a stage. This performance was the closest one could have expected and it was very very neatly done.
Sweet disposition Never too soon Oh, reckless abandon Like no one's watching you A moment a love A dream aloud A kiss a cry Our rights Our wrongs A moment, a love A dream aloud A moment, a love A dream, aloud So stay there 'Cause I'll be coming over And while our blood's still young It's so young, it runs And won't stop 'til it's over Won't stop to surrender Songs of desperation I played them for you A moment, a love A dream aloud A kiss, a cry Our rights Our wrongs A moment, a love A dream aloud A moment, a love A dream aloud Stay there 'Cause I'll be coming over And while our blood's still young It's so young, it runs And won't stop 'til it's over Won't stop to surrender And won't stop 'til it's over Won't stop 'til it's over Won't stop 'til it's over Won't stop to surrender
Yes. I have lived that. “Reckless abandon” . “Songs of desperation”. It’s been over three years; and, it still hurts sooo much. I can still feel her. I’ve begged God to make this go away.
If there was any sound that could describe 2010 it’s this song. Also I love being able to tell they’re Busking this show just from staring at the profiles.
seeing them play this live anywhere was just hair-raising. i was inside Stubb’s in Austin for a K Flay show like early 2013 i think? Temper Trap were headlining outside just before. i snuck through sidestage to see just as this song hit. and of course ascended to heaven.
I'm now listening in full quarantine in Argentina for the covid 19. Courage my dear world !!! PES 2011 The temper trap has one of the best underrated guitarist ever. He's brilliant.
I'm hitting 25 next month and I've been thinking the same since I turned 21. I forget I'm not 30 yet and all my anxieties about making it by 25 have been lying to me.
When i hear this song. I always remember that time. The time when me and my friend hanging out at the beach. Having fun. When the band play this song. We dance together. Really love that moment. Now we cant do that again. We all already married and already have kids, we need to work for our family. Dear my friends. I hope we can meet again. And we dance like the old time. Maybe for the last time. Miss u all brother
Yea me and my late brother too wish we cod spin the clock back and dance and laugh and not give a f#%k bout nothing and just live in the mo now its all stress...but f it I'm dancin round my gaf on my lonesome doyblrme Jamison and reliving the good days 😂🤣😥 .

This song is being 18 years old, no job, no college, no worries, just a summer to spend in a beer garden watching the world cup in south africa with friends. Good times.
Magical sound I was not there that year but a Glastonbury veteran I can feel that sweet afternoon somerset sun with a warm cider. My grandpa passed away on the Friday evening so it was a weekend of crazy emotions I can't recall much, finally got back to Glastonbury in 2015.
After watching 500 Days of Summer, I did search this band as I was so intrigued. Glad I did that as I discovered more songs of theirs that are incredible.
