Unless given revelation from the Lord? “Don’t give in to this era” I’m paraphrasing, but it’s pretty critical what simple advice/warnings given from the prophet are heavily looked over. Another example is keeping covenants. The times we live in tend to head to our desires. I am just that though. I am not perfect. And I’ve forgotten so much that I’ve fell off the path made for me. Also, calling out politicians and pharmaceuticals isnt his job lol
Yes. They all call them out whenever they speak of the wicked. Those who indulge in wickedness and do not repent will suffer the consequences. Including politicians and big pharma and anyone else

Thank you President Nelson. My wife and I with our children were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple in 1972. We drove from Fort Lauderdale Florida to Salt Lake City. We joined the Church with my parents and many members of our extended family. What a joy it is to find the Restored Church of Jesus Christ. I and my father were Baptist ministers and the Holy Spirit led us to find and read the Book of Mormon, its truth was manifest to us 51 years ago and still resonates in our heart. We love you and Thank You.
President Russel M. Nelson said if we rely too much on social media for information, we can’t listen to the Spirit. So Heavenly Father tested us yesterday. He's indeed called of God to lead us in this last days
I have had a personal witness from the Holy Ghost that this man is a prophet of God. God lives and loves us so much that he sent his Son in sacrifice for us. We are loved so much that he guides us through his prophet to help us be unified and return to him. I know this is true.
I love our prophet Russell M. Nelson I know he is the one for these days and I just love each talk that I find before he became The Prophet, and he just gets better. I know that I am getting better and will continue to gain information, insights,as The Holy Ghost, Jesus Christ is so loving and great teaching with us. I am slow in some areas, other things I can understand and help others. I'm grateful for all I know and have. I love the Restoration, I know more every day, and I understand better every time I pay attention to our Prophet and my spiritual leaders. I’m so great full for the Truth , open my heart eyes and ears to the lord commands, come follow him , he knows and shows us the way to the best live ever .
I remember he said before covid to prepare for a day when we couldn't attended church. Now he is saying to take extra ordinary measures to prepare for the coming calamities. I thank the good lord for this prophet and pray we can all be ready for what lies ahead.
Indeed! And how he stated in his closing remarks: "the pandemic has demonstrated how quickly life can change". This reminded me of what Paul wrote to the Thessalonians about these latter days in 1. Thes. 5:2-6

But he did say in his talk that we have no need to fear, if we are prepared and we keep our covenants in order to have Christ's power! Be of good courage! Learn to draw upon his power! So we don't succumb to the unique anxieties of our day.
How much more clear does it have to be, when a Prophet is basically telling you, The Hour Has Come. He's telling us that Christ will soon be back for the Second Coming, and that we're going to see great upheaval soon. Really makes you think about what you need to do to prepare better.

The Lord is with us, always! At our most weakest, and saddened times! He, my Savior is there🙇 Keep the faith! Death is not the end, just a passing through to a different type of existence!
I testify what he said is true. He is a real prophet send from God. When you hear him. Holy spirit will testify his witness. We can learn from him how a men chosen from God is humble, meekness, spiritual, merciful and faithful. His revealations make me well prepare myself to love and serve others. Develop my Christlike attributes and cultivate desire and act like Jesus Christ. I can feel the love from Heavenly Father that he sent his living prophet to lead us to win the adversary. “Sacred ordinances and covenants available in holy temples make it possible for individuals to return to the presence of God and for families to be united eternally.” I have a personal testimony that temples are as important to us today as the tabernacle was in the day of Moses. Without them, we would be left unable to perform essential work that turns “the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers”. I am grateful to know and belief in a prophet and to know of the importance of the temples and the works performed therein.
The more and more I hear this talk and listening to other talks by the Prophet in the past couple years it becomes evident to me that the Lord’s coming is near. And that the trials and persecution of the saints are ahead. If we are not strongly founded on the Lord the trials ahead will shake us off our foundation and we will be consumed with fear. We also need to take the Spirit as our guide. Already so many are being deceived, calling that which is good bad, and that which is bad good. The danger is if we permit the adversary and his followers on this earth to deceive us over and over eventually they will deceive us in regards to things that ARE of eternal importance. The same mainstream media that is calling the convoy evil also tells us that poly amorous relationships are good and that “experts” say humans were not meant to be monogamous.
“It is now time that we each implement extraordinary measures - perhaps measures we have never taken before - to strengthen our personal spiritual foundations. Unprecedented times call for unprecedented measures.”
Today I am so very happy for the evening I came across the Book Of Morman. I am so very happy that the Holy Sprite chose to confirm to a person no better than I was that what I was reading was true . This conference was for me the most wonderful yet. I have so much love for our beloved profit , the 1st. Presidency and the 12 apostles.
This is nourishment to the soul. Many blessings have been promised if we obey and keep our covenants. “We need not to succumb to the anxieties of this world.”

Yep every time society changes they have to change. Remove sexism, remove racism, etc. remove the denigration of other religions. Shorten it cuz people are busy today.
They are unchanging and irrefutable. Men and women are equal in God's eyes, same with every race and Religion, God loves his children with a perfect love that we cannot comprehend. Improved efficiency does not indicate that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints is easily moved by public opinion. Some of societies changes are positive and align with God's will such as women's suffrage, but many are not and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is often criticized for the things they will not change. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is not swayed by public opinion because public opinion as President Nelson has said is not the arbiter of truth. That being said I'm sure you're a great person and I loved your dolphin video!! ❤

I've been a member for 1 year now getting ready for my endowment, my first time visiting the Temple was incredible it was like I was coming home to my Father's House wow ,the peace, love it was truly the greatest experience in my life to that point, can't hardly wait to get back

As I was listening to Anthony D. "Remember thy suffering." I was greatly disturbed that his disease has not been exorcized from him. With so many like minded members given authority. Why isn't that authority being used. There is no reason for any one to accept illness when Christ has given us power to heal, and allow his glory to work in our lives. We need to do his work while we worship him daily

What a blessing and comfort to have a prophet in our midst! He speaks with power and authority of God. D&C 21:46 4 Wherefore, meaning the church, thou shalt give heed unto all his words and commandments which he shall give unto you as he receiveth them, walking in all holiness before me; 5 For his word ye shall receive, as if from mine own mouth, in all patience and faith. 6 For by doing these things the agates of hell shall not prevail against you; yea, and the Lord God will disperse the powers of darkness from before you, and cause the heavens to shake for your good, and his name’s glory.

I know President Russell M. Nelson is a Prophet of God in these latter days. The Lord has many Houses built unto Him on this earth. We are guided and have been given the materials and tools for the sturdiest of spiritual foundations. Jesus Christ lives, and He guides our prophet today. His spirit is here, His power is here.

As a former Catholic, so do I! We all drank out of the same cup during Mass. Gross. But when I saw how the sacrament was administered, I was impressed. And that was in addition to how amazed I was to feel the Spirit!
What a wonderful message coming from our beloved prophet . It's a reminder for us to be always prepared for the blessings of the temple. And make our spiritual foundation be firmed to withstand all the deceiving tactics of the adversary.
3:50 “If you and I are to withstand the forthcoming perils and pressures it is imperative that we each have a firm spiritual foundation built upon The Rock of our Redeemer Jesus Christ” This struck me as so vital for us now. Also “ And oh how we will need His power in the days ahead” We need to be ready for what is coming. What pressures is he referring to? He is a Seer and can see with what is ahead with the Lord’s blessing.This has put me to think and pray for understanding and action in my part.
I will be listening to this talk repeatedly for the next six months, until it is in my mind, word for word, permanently. Several talks from past Apostles/Prophets I have committed to memory this way, and I cannot count how many times their words have helped me, and have helped me help another. This surely was one of those messages that is now on my to-do list, to memorize, and to immediately implement in my life!
