The Temple of the Vedic Planetarium in Mayapur, West Bengal, India was one of ISKCON-founder A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami's main projects. He gave specific guidelines about how to build it before his departure from this world in 1977. Now, followers and well-wishers from all over the world work together very hard to be able to offer the finished temple to Prabhupada as their gift of gratitude for the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness in 2016.
