What do you think of the Iberian Peninsula in Chivalry Remastered? I honestly think Atromb has made it the most accurate, most dramatic medieval Iberian theater in any Total War 11th century grand campaign on the big map.

Regional level complexity adds SO much to the immersion experience. It really is necessary in my opinion for a truly enjoyable experience. Much like Crusader Kings. I am still hopeful that somebody will make a game that combines the best of both Total War and Crusader Kings! The map is great btw!

Regarding your recent poll question, somehow this is my favorite remastered port despite being a big EB guy :)

Thank you! Well, when in a lot of ways I think Chivalry is a sort of EB for the Medieval era...

I played this a little bit. I didn’t like how the cities in Iberia were just barbarian settlements from RTW. I like the map and settlement placement. Makes Iberia in particular feel more fleshed out.

This map's color even resembles Medieval 2 map. :) Would it be possible to add option to change religion? For example, when i play as Catholic i would like to change to Orthodox so Pope can't excommunicate me. Or to convert to Islam if i have a common border with Muslim faction. It would be interesting

The original mod did not include conversion options... but perhaps we can add it.

@@GudeaTW i think people would be pleased to have an option. Also slavic, baltic and nordic paganism could be interesting to have in the game as well. Imagine defending Jerusalem as a Pagan from pissed off Catholics 😄 You can make it as a mechanic to convert only if you have a region with at least 50-60% of that new religion under your control. To make it more of a challenge. Or in case of switching from orthodox to catholic to just go with diplomat to pope and sign a union. You are smart guy, you can do something,😄

Gudea, I havent played Chivalry Remastered for a few months and now every single save game(and I have A LOT) I try to load and continue one of my campaigns it fails to load and the game crashes. Thats very disapointing, I spent hundreds of hours in them campaigns... The odd part is when I start a new campaign everything works fine. Do you have an idea whats wrong and how it can be fixed?

Are you on the big map or regular? Is it early era?

@@GudeaTW Not big map, the original one. And yes, most of my campaigns are in Early era. I kinda found a hack to deal with my last campaign saves that used to crash - now I just start a fresh campaign in Early era AND THEN load the save game - that works, but only with the latest one/ The ones I made half an year ago, unfortunatly, are imposiible to load - the game always crash

The mod and Kirsi's map are absolutely amazing, but is the Remaster's AI supposed to be so agressive? I'm playing as Aragon and everyone around hates the player Yeah I know Total War etc, etc. lol

It's total chaos in the Iberian Peninsula in the early era big map campaign... in other regions the AI is more passive!
