Also in the raid battle all Pokemon were terastalized, instead of just 1 that dynamaxes. And YES, the hats are necessary because trying to do it by color alone would be too confusing with all the types.

I don't think Terastallizing is like having a third typing, I think it's a modern version of Hidden Power. You could find a Bagon of a Tera type that you're not interested in, and trade it for a friend's that has the type you want.

Honestly I think terastalizing is gonna be a cool af mechanic, and I feel like it'll shake up the meta a lot with all the things you can get with it.

I don't think terastallizing will make the pokemon have 3 typing's. I think it will override their type and change it like the eevee example becoming a grass type. Maybe with dule-type pokemon it changes their secondary typing, or maybe it will just change their type outright. Like a gengar with a Fire tera type would either become a fire type or become Ghost/fire

Oh my God! Finally, my favorite Pokémon are back in the game! Houndour/Houndoom! I'm so hyped now.

With the book-theme for the (what I assume) is the Pokedex this time, I hope we get more info on each Pokemon. Like the info on the website leading up to the game release is the bare minimum of info we get for each Pokedex entry this time.

I started playing Go again a year ago when I moved downtown where there are pokestops everywhere and I can even spin one from inside my apartment. If you're in that situation I think it's really fun, I like going on walks! If you live in a rural area or can't walk around, then it's a lot less exciting, unfortunately.

That flying pikachu is a real thing now and not that special event from Japan. Look at the Moveset, it knew fly before crystalizing

I'm unsure of how the terastallizing works, whether it overwrites the type or adds on to it. In the first case you can transform a Pokemon to a type and change the defensiveness, so a water type could turn into a ground type to avoid electric damage, or it could add onto it and create a 3 type Pokemon. Either way I'm excited to see how it works! Hopefully Pokemon have preset types they can turn into and it's not fully random.

Sooo what was that pokemon with the big flowery horns in the forest scene of the new game trailer. I haven't heard or seen anyone talk about that pokemon yet.

QUACK PACK! I'm on team Quaxly 100%! When I saw the starters for the first time at the beginning of the year, I was leaning towards Sprigatito coz it's a grass cat, then I was leaning towards Quaxly because of the Donald Duck meme, but I am now 100% loving Quaxly the most, and I feel it has a lot of potential for greatness and being absolutely fabulous. I'm also actually excited for the Trainer School, it looks like we're actually GOING to school instead of being there for like 5 minutes and then graduating or just visiting for a few minutes. A Pokémon biology class sounds unironically really cool. Other than the Gym story, my guess is that one of the other 2 stories is gonna be Pokédex completion, maybe even research tasks like in PLA where you have to observe the wild Pokémon's behavior, since they do indeed seem to have various behaviors, like lying down, playing and stuff! And I bet the endgame for that story is gonna be catching the legendary Pokémon (I think the one we get in the beginning is just a ride, but later it might allow us to battle and catch it), maybe in the eye of that cyclone-like thing in the middle of the region. Not sure what the 3rd story would be, my guess right now is investigate the regional evil organization, if there is one this time, maybe they're trying to time travel and mess up time or something, who knows. Or maybe the story will be something else. Cool to see the games will be released on a Friday, so we can get to play them right away in the weekend. :)

pretty sure you either get terastalized to your own type or change type alltogether, so like eevee could be normal or completely dark, otherwise that might just be a too broken mechanic

So with the Terastalizing, I think you're right that it basically gets an adaptability boost when Terastalizing. I don't think they get a third type. What I'm gathering is that each individual pokemon (not species, true individual) can roll a different Tera type at random which it then changes to when it Terastalizes. So you could catch for example, two Pikachus. They could potentially both have different types, and will become that type when Terastalizing.

There is your dragon type eevee. Just gotta find a terastralizing eevee that goes dragon.

I'm worried about the gym order thing, because supposedly they don't scale. If that is true, then it is a false freedom, because the levels of the Gyms would still essentially force us to follow a set path anyways, making it a blatant lie when they say we can do it in any order. Tell us we can do them in any order, but have the levels railroad us into the path they want us to take.

Fans have pointed out that it COULD be Ash facing off against Red in the upcoming Pokemon Masters EX update, and I can see what they mean! If you look close at the shot, you can make out the spiky hair on the figure, but he bares the same shorts and sneakers that Ash currently wears. An Ash VS Red event? Might be plausible!

I would say i like dynamax and potentially this new gimmick but not liking it more than dynamax but more than Mega and z move but i admit Mega evolve is the coolest but it's just extra 100 stats, and most z moves just give you extra power on move, but dynamax you can raise your team stat, lower opponent stats, setting up terrain and weather

Luke did you know that it can cause Pokemon to have types they usually don't have like eveee is not just a normal type it can become a grass Terra type eveee and a water type eveee

Z moves and dynamax were kinda just op but also slooow to use so I never liked using them. This being simple could be good overall.

Violet dragon disappoints me. Should have done something similar to mega lati’s for the flying. It just looks weird.
