Fun fact: The Deconstruction Worker was actually a boss fight in the Megamind videogame by the same name, Megamind VS the Doom Syndicate. They're so unoriginal that they steal from a decades old videogame, just like the title of the movie, and didn't even bother using the old designs from that game

Bit of a correction. Deconstruction Worker was actually an original member of the Doom Syndicate when they were planned to be in the original movie. They just reused all the created members for the video game, including him

If I were Dreamworks, I’d probably retcon this lackluster sequel and series as a nightmare and have the REAL sequel be with the Doom syndicate from that game for the WiiU (and Nighty Knight) And the whole thing wouldn’t look like cocomelon. This show could've easily redeemed Hal. It wouldn't be a good redemption, we know not to expect much, but he's had like a couple months in solitary confinement to think about what he's done and is used to Metro Man's powers, he could've been used to help defeat that villain (I forgot his name within 3 minutes and I don't feel like looking it up) and realize that Roxanne will never love him, and that's ok. This show was so close to at least attempting an interesting character arc, but I shouldn't expect much from a show with a budget of the team's collective pocket change

This is how the peacock writers write their next seasons. They will show a big cliffhanger just for things to be escalated already or time passes. They did this on dragons the nine realms a lot.
