The Terrifying Darkness of the Shaded Citadel - RAINWORLD 

-Nice lizard kill. Also the reason I warned against Shaded Citadel is due to the spiders. The small/clumped together ones can be killed with a flashbang (that blue bulb that flashes brightly when thrown). However other creatures are immune to it. You're close to another gate, just keep going right (not down. The path leading downwards just gets progressively harder). Also before I continue, if you enjoy exploration you'll enjoy Hollow Knight. If you haven't played it yet, I highly recommend doing so. Maybe a playthrough idea after Rain World? -Coloured pearls are indeed special, storing information related to the lore. You'll met someone later on that can read you this information. I believe coloured pearls are also tracked somewhere? -You can't eat lizards as survivor or monk but you can eat them as hunter and a couple Downpour slugcats too! -Yes, the orange glowing stuff is edible. They can be found in abundance in darker places like this. -The saint is a passage/achievement for going a number of cycles without hurting anything (or was it for not eating meat for a while? I get the monk and the saint passages mixed up often) Call me a monster but I like to kill a bunch of lantern mice for the outlaw passage 🤣

The Scavs you traded with aren't apart of the scavs that attacked you, every time you come up to a Scav group you must always have a pearl ready to trade them with. Otherwise you will be attacked by them. Also never attack them otherwise the scavs eill be VERY aggressive and will kill you ON SIGHT. So be cautious around them

Controller is definitely more comfortable to use, but for some people it's harder to do tricks like slides and backflips on controller, but I don't find it difficult to do, so it just comes down to personal preference.

you are very close to one of my favourite parts of the game,i can only tell you to pay attention to iggy's arrow instructions also the small spiders only atack when there are a lot of them in a chain,while the big ones are cautious they will still atack you even when alone,though they are quite easy to kill

Damn, this episode is great! The reason why some commenters recommended against going to Shaded Citadel from Industrial Complex is for one reason that you got lucky on, acquiring a lantern. New players often don't realize early on the importance of lanterns, how to get a lantern from scavengers, or how uncommon it is to even find a lantern when arriving from the Industrial Complex gate. So you got lucky picking up a lantern from a Scavenger patrol that was relatively close to the Industrial Complex gate before it got really dark! Also that shelter clutch at the end, the water got much closer to you compared to what happened in Garbage Wastes. Lastly in terms of a destination, don't worry since GW and SH connect to the same upcoming region. Overall, you performed exceptionally well for a new player entering Shaded Citadel for the first time!

As somebody with 286 hours in this game who has always played with keyboard, I will say that while I don't know how much easier/harder movement may be with a controller, it's all still completely doable and manageable on keyboard.

Controller/keyboard is pretty much personal preference. Advanced movement is easier with keyboard, general movement is more fluent with controller.

If you decide to play other campaigns for RW I highly recommend one mod. The SB Scroll mod, all it does is get rid of the sudden camera change that can become pretty sickening. It just smoothly moves the camera, although one downside is that it can cause freezing during Karma Gates. With a computer that is even slightly good the freezing doesn't last long, even on my sub-par gaming laptop. The freezing can stop if you go through a gate you've already gone through though

If you are going down a pipe backwards, while you are moving backwards in the pipe you can press jump, while holding move, to have the slug stop a little bit and then face the right way. That is what was trying to happen at 9:20.

I play on Nintendo Switch,and I’ve never had controller problems outside of skill issue. (Also, double tapping grab swaps what you are holding)

I get the pain of accidentally tossing stuff 😔 Spoilers for a late game DLC campaign below v When I was in Moon I kept accidentally throwing the Spearmaster pearl or whatever when I pressed X (on controller) to grab something and/or make more spears. So then I had to swim through the no gravity to go grab it again. I'm not sure why it tossed it when pressing X as my throw button is Y, but whatever the reason it was annoying lmao

I know this is random but could you try and do a Bigfoot on spore??? I think that would be really cool
