Imagine the fool who let an untested group borrow the dragon slaying weapon, and the group dies anyway and now the dragon slaying weapon is part of the dragon's treasure horde. That is actually one of the catch 22's of D&D. If you are powerful enough to kill a dragon, you likely already have the funds to legitimately purchase a dragon slayer weapon. and don't really need to borrow it. If you're not strong enough, then you are also not rich enough to buy it, and not skilled enough to use it effectively. which makes lending it a big risk.

However, he has been doing more voice work as of recent with his most notable role being Scrooge McDuck in Ducktales (2017)

Fun fact: The moment "I would like to RAGE" was one of the favorite moments for the Grog's VA in this series. It showed how passionate he was.

"Anime inspired" is the genre i would call this show in terms of animation, as while the art-style is similar to some anime, the choreography of the fights is more Western like Avatar: Legend Of Korra. In my opinion, Castlevania is considered an anime because the studio animating it had previous experience in the anime industry.

The single sandal in Gilmore's shop is a nod to a bit of real-world D&D trivia; Gary Gygax, one of the creators of Dungeons and Dragons, worked as a shoemaker during the early days of D&D. The female general was voiced by Felicia Day. If you don't know who she is, you have to turn in your nerd cards. She runs Geek and Sundry, which gave Critical Role to heir original break. The animation studio is Titmouse. You're probably familiar with their work. The character designs are by the same guy who did the character designs for the newer DC animated movies. He was real jazzed to design something other than superheroes. The sandal was a reference to a sandal made by Gary Gygax that gets passed around.

The forest and tree talk at the end 🤣 What I think about when reading about carriages getting robbed in forest, or there's trees nearby that seem suspicious.

A lot of the characters with longish brown hair represent Matt Mercer the DM of the tabletop game because he plays all the NPCS

Everyone misses it on the first viewing. While in Brymscythe's Lair, before the dragon attacks, you can see Grog, Pike and Vax stuffing gold and items into the bag Grogs carries. That bag is actually a Bag of Holding, meaning it can hold hundreds of pounds worth of stuff in that tiny bag. Also Vex does grab gold as she tells the others to run AND Scanlon escapes with only 5 items...3 potions, a magical scroll and the troll dick...LOL Loving the reactions! Ok, in defense of, I guess trees and bandits? As someone who lived for a long time in the not civilized part of the country... a fallen tree in the road is definitely something that just happens sometimes...especially after a storm or a windy day. In ye olden times, a fallen tree blocking the road was probably a pretty normal occurrence, but bandits would take advantage or stage their own. First thing to do when you see a tree like that is check the roots... if it looks like it was cut, then you reach for your explosives or whatnot, if you can see the roots or if the break in the trunk is jagged, you're probably sage and should move on to the next step of getting that shit out of the road before bandit actually do show up.

Genre: American Adult Animation, they have some independent studios lending a hand but the primary studio is Titmouse inc. and the style is heavily influence by Legend of Korra and Invincible which if I remember correctly one of the animators for Invincible was brought on as additional talent.
