I have watched Ernest on BBQ Pitmasters and thought he only had a catering company in Midland. To find out he has a place in Seguin .... ROADTRIP !! My sister and I are retired and frequently do road trips in search of good BBQ and home cooking. See 'ya soon !
i pass this place all of the time and like he said, i'm one of those who thought it was a coffee shop. Woopsies. Definitely going to drop in for some BBQ now.
Cooking B.B.Q is a art, that takes a person that who knows what to do to make your B.B.Q so great,it takes time to learn about who to do the job right. You have to put in the time to and ,learn everything right , and the years.Just keep the right people with you and there’s no stopping.
Omg 😳 we been trying to come here every time it’s sold out can’t wait to try it 😳❤️ we’re from Uvalde too been living in Sa for a while maybe some day we’ll get a chance 🙏🏽
Don't waste your time (or money). It is pretty average overall Central TX BBQ at very HIGH PRICES. The dude is a hype machine that begged his way onto BBQ Pitmasters and got "smoked" every time. In Seguin there is ZERO competition for ANY decent food and thats why folks eat there. It's either that or drive 20-30 minutes to New Braunfels or an hour to SA. You are better off driving to either Luling or Lokchart and getting REAL old school BBQ at FAIR prices without all the hype and overpriced sides and craft beers. The place is a fad that won;t last 3 years.
@@jaysantos536 👌 I love some luling sausage and Seguin has the worst food places and yup you have to drive out of town for great food I've never been to burnt beans so I really can't comment on them
@@charmainjones1248 Dont bother with Burned Beans unless you want to stand in line with a bunch of TOUROSTS that bought the hype and spend $20 on a few pieces of avg. brisket and a side and drink. Stick with City Market where you know exactly what to expect (decent brisket, great ribs and sausage at a fair price) with a bunch of LOCALS.
@@9009matorres Simply don;t like hyped up new BBQ places that serve avg. food at very high prices to tourists that don't know any better. I'm for the consumers.
I've competed against Ernest before & he is a great Cook. We competed in Mercedes, Edinburg,San Antonio & he usually came out on Top 👍👍. One day I'll try his food & visit his & my friend Robert.

I like to travel all over the state for good BBQ and you will not be disappointed at the Burnt Bean Co. I make the trip from San Antonio several times a month to visit.

@@michaelbosman1752 Sorry you feel that way. Evidently you havent eaten at any of the really good old school BBQ joints in Central TX because ALL of them are better AND cheaper than this "johnny come lately" overhyped and overpriced place in a crappy little town. Lockhart, Luling and New Braunfels ALL have far better and cheaper BBQ joints.
@@jaysantos536 damn your lack of knowledge is hilarious and just from your comments I can tell you have a personal beef with the place and the pitmasters. From reading your comments as well I can tell you've never even been to the place, what craft beers are you referring to? I would almost bet that you are an employee at one of them joints in Lockhart or Luling. What place in "Central TX' has cheap bbq? lmao.

I was trying to call this place this morning to make reservations tonight for my wife’s birthday dinner. Their hours state 11AM-3PM or until they sell out. ☹️
You must have been mistaken. My husband and I went and couldn't believe how much cheaper their prices are compared to Austin, Lockhart and Luling BBQ restaurants. And the food at Burnt Bean is incredible. The brisket is tender and juicy. We loved the street corn bread pudding, sausage, beans, green beans, etc. It was all good and they serve you a lot. We can't wait to go back.
@@marynielson1705 I’ve been several times for business meetings and it’s not some place I’d recommend. Glad you enjoyed it though. Davilla’s has better bbq in my opinion and for a better price.
$28 per lb is not cheaper than Austin, in fact, it’s the same as anywhere in Austin, which is far too high. I remember when not too long ago, maybe 10’years?, brisket was $9 per lb in Lockhart…
@@littlebigman5784 The "owner"" was on BBQ Pitmasters at least twice and never came close to beating any of the others. His food just looked poorly prepared. He's got them fooled in Seguin I guess cause he talks a big game and their is NO other good BBQ within 20 miles.
