I didn't see this back in the day. But I really enjoyed this and I'm sad it was cancelled. I'm sure the powers that be cancelled quite a few good ones.
The blonde girl who played the part of Boo was Karen Obedier. At this time, I was about 2 1/2 years older than her. I had a big crush on her. Unfortunately, about 10 years ago, she was killed in a plane crash. Very sad.
It seems that Mr. Hamill got the life-altering Luke Skywalker role because this TV show got the ax. What an opportunity-- in hindsight. So, had this series flourished on television, Luke Skywalker might've been played by Kurt Russell, Robby Benson, or William Katt. Russell auditioned for Luke and Han, from what I understand. Benson was very good in his reading, imho.
@@jpx8793 Russell was destined for movie stardom. He was talented as a kid. I remember seeing him in TV reruns on an episode of the first season of Gilligan's Island as a native island boy who the castaways discover living on the island, and they tried teaching him some English. No wonder Walt Disney gave Kurt a film contract in the 1970s. He was great on the screen.
