Brilliant! АукцЫон used to be my favorite band ever... but now I see that it was inspired the THE & Talking Heads most of all. This flute(or what it is) on the background is making me crazy.

Good to hear this :) Its kind of similar to Another Boy Drowning in a way, but nothing wrong with that. I remember when I saw The The in 2005 or something and Matt was asking for requests. ABD came up and Matt said 'sorry we don't do that one any more - he drowned' :D
The tracks were called Three orange kisses from Kazan, Mental healing process, Nature of virtue, Fruit of the heart and Waiting for the upturn. I'm not sure where you can get them but the do crop up on b'sides of the early singles. If you get in touch I can try and mail them to you as MP3s
I remember that gig when ABD was requested. Matt didn't seem 'at home' that night and talked between songs maybe a bit too much which seemed to encourage way too much chat and less focus on the music. I reckon this is why the amazing drummer played that 10 minute amazing drum solo
