Flooret Modin Collection has a 40 mil wear layer. 9" x 72" planks. Not as thick overall but only $4.50 sq ft. I do like the random lengths of this though.
I just this product installed in my basement it looks really good but it feels really chalky and not smooth to bare feet. Do you have an idea what is going on? Thanks
When I look at a sample of this in person the sample looked a little like a picture to me or painted on wood look. Have you seen this installed yet? I'm doing an entire first floor. I'm pulling up hard wood so I'm really trying to get the most realistic LVP at a decent thickness to make up for the 3/4 inch wood floor. Given your experience with LVP is this more realistic than others when installed?
This is such a new product I have not seen it installed personally, but it has very similar visuals to the Coretec Premium collection. Both have EIR - embossed in register which is the most natural look you can get with a vinyl plank. EIR basically means the picture or film used matches the texture of the floor. Otherwise its just an overlayed texture that can look too repetative or manufactured. So yes, this is a more realistic LVP than most. The cool thing about Grande is that being 5/8" thick, your transitions will look better and this is product that can be glued down. This would eliminate the hollow sound that most people aren't crazy about. Please let us know if you have any other questions. Ben - F4LO
