I don't usually comment on videos, but I have to say your videos are helping me through a tough time in my life, they're nostalgic and interesting and I just wanted to say keep up the amazing work and I can't wait for more!

Brother. Oblivion is my favourite game of all time. The way you break down quests and the storytelling just hits my nostalgia in a way that I can't explain. Thankyou man. I'll keep watching as long as you keep making these type of videos. Have a whole entire oblivion walk through top to bottom like this would legit be the best thing ever. Thanks again 😁

Bard, I've been watching your videos for quite a while now. I cannot express the awe and respect I have for you. I've played the game on and off since release and thought I know it quite well. Yet, you amaze me. Your insightful narration, the attention to detail, your overall love for Oblivion - those things make your content really stand out. For me, you are the best Oblivion-oriented channel ever. English is not my first language, but I hope everything is comprehensible. You always have my ear, citizen. Reinstalled recently because of this channel, I Thought I did most of the things to be done in this game. Then saw how many quests I don't know about 😅

Been feeling pretty down the last couple of weeks, and as silly as it sounds, getting to forget about everything at the end of the day and unwind with one of these videos is the best!

As one who plays as an Argonian a lot, I was not thrilled, to say the least, when I found the secret chamber in Leyawiin

So excited to see a new Bard video out. I'm feeling a bit under the weather and I'm sick at home and I feel like this will be a great thing to just. Unwind and watch. While, I try to feel better.

Would be interesting what the devs thought process was about the mages and thieves guild questlines intertwining like that. Either nobody ever stumbled upon this while play testing or they realized it and decided to leave it in because it's funny to have your character steal from and then threaten themself.

I think the thieves guild is my 2nd favourite faction in oblivion, and you're doing a great job with your playthrough of it. Also, where bard's sleep videos 😭

Fun fact about Ahdarji: Her anti-Argonian dialogue never changes. So, if you're _playing_ as an Argonian, this results in her constantly trash-talking Argonians, _to an Argonian._ I also like how if you get Hlidara to open up about the torture chamber, she sounds genuinely horrified at what goes on. And I'm not 100% convinced on the Count's guilt or innocence. If he knows about it, then he's perfectly fine with talking to an Argonian character, and even willing to sell them a "quaint" house in his city, but would see nothing wrong with his wife effectively abducting that same Argonian and torturing them to death; if he _doesn't_ know about the torture, then that would mean all of that brutality is being done _right under his nose,_ by the very people he should be able to trust the most. I like the detail about leaving the note (about stealing the ice staff) in the nightstand, even if you're the Archmage. My interpretation is that the Mages' Guild doesn't know you're a part of the Thieves' Guild, so when _your_ ice staff gets "stolen", you would then look in the nightstand and "discover" why it went missing. You gotta keep up appearances, after all. Same goes for when you "return" the staff. Theranis is quite possibly even dumber than Amusei. Sure, Amusei tried to ransom the Countess' own ring back to her (with predictable results), but our friend Theranis was openly bragging about robbing the castle, _right in the middle of a crowded tavern._ Honestly, what the fuck did he *THINK* was gonna happen? Even if the Pale Lady wasn't around, he'd still be rotting in jail due to his own terminal stupidity. That being said, I find it interesting how Theranis was still dressed in a set of leather armor, even after being in jail for several days. By that time, you'd think he'd be given the usual prison uniform of sack cloth gear. And the book being behind Nerastarel's house is interesting, more due to the house in question. For starters, there's no NPC in the entire vanilla game with the name of "Nerastarel". Second, it's not out in the middle of nowhere, or something; it's right smack-dab in the center of *SKINGRAD,* one of the most prosperous and affluent cities in Cyrodiil. I think the Guild's strategy for neutralizing Lex as a threat is pretty clever; I mean, you're basically using his own honor-before-reason attitude against him, to "promote" him to a position where he'll not only be in no shape to fight the Guild, but he'll actually end up directly helping his own nemesis (for reasons we'll no doubt see soon). Side note: Orrin's line about expecting a "Cat Burglar" becomes a lot funnier if you're playing as a Khajiit :D Edit: Fixed some typos.

Stealing the staff when you're already the Archmage is always hilarious. You steal from yourself then plant a note for yourself. 😂 It's a shame we can't use the staff though

What the hell is up with the Pale Lady? She's a evil vampire who operates in Castle Skingrad. The same castle ruled by a vampire who doesn't tolerate vampires who lost their self control and humanity. So how is she able to operate in his own castle? It would have made far more sense if she was his wife that he wanted cured in order to stop her tortures,execution and suffering. Oblivion is very odd in how different quests have completely different lore. It's as if the right hand wasn't paying attention to what the left hand was doing and/or care.

Thankfully after the quest ends the countess becomes unessential, she is rude and racist af towards argonians and khajiits and dunmers for literally no reason. (Quick arrow snipe would help with her problem 👀🤣)
