They hovered around 2.50-2.60 the 3 years before Covid (dropped to less than $2 in 2020 when everyone was in lock down and not driving) now they're back to around 2.70-2.80....Regardless, gas prices are dependent upon the price of crude oil which is a GLOBAL phenomenon so it's not dependent upon who's in office in the US....

@@amac9044 Gas was between $2.00 and $2.50 in 2018 and 2019 in northern VA where I live leading up to the covid. Dont know where you live where you getting gas under $3.00. Gas is between $3.50 and $4.00 a gallon now. Has been over $3.00 a gallon since 2020.
