Ya, obviously we have no clue as to their true relationship, but based on observation I'm thinking Jake & Becky have ALWAYS had evolving levels of deep love for each other, not to mention respect, friendship, & total commitment. Sometimes we just awaken with new levels of appreciation for someone or we realize we haven't noticed things in awhile. That's the cool thing about long term love.

I'm currently a stay at home mom of 2 toddlers in a rented house with a small backyard.. I just got so inspired by Becky and how she juggles it all, it made me decide to do research on homesteading.. I may not have enough room for chickens, but you guys are a big reason I started raising quail this year. I'm really excited to get my kids involved & teach them these life long skills to raise and grow their own food. Thank you for inspiring another momma. Lots of hugs☺️❤️

Being a mother is definitely not for the faint of heart. Becky is amazing. What a small tree! It’s so cute! I like that you can plant it later. I can’t wait to see the garage. A few things that would make a garage perfect, skylight for natural light, an attic fan for the summer time, and a heat source in case you have to work in there when it is cold out. Oh yes! A refrigerator to keep beverages in for hot days. Merry Christmas!
We have a lot of that in our normal garage a little further back. This one’s for our 2 cars, the UTV and some mowing equipment. So it’s mostly to keep everything shielded from weather and protected.

I only have 1 son that goes to private school. I'm a single mother & work a full time job. I struggle everyday with our day to day life. I give my son everything he needs plus more but it is definitely ab workout. You have 3 boys & a baby girl & you look like you do it all with ease. You are truly amazing!! What a lovely insight into your family life. I hope your kids develop into kind, strong and mindful teens. I loved school as a kid (I’m 67) growing up in suburban NJ but my mom was Welsh and strict. She and my dad made sure we did homework first before play and we always received a book for every holiday (plus other gifts). We were encouraged to do extracurricular activities at school and in the town. I worry about kids today with so many distractions and negative influences. I hope your kids are also learning how people live in other parts of the world and will grow up knowing how lucky they are with you as their caring guiding parents! 🥰❤️🙏🏼🎄

I deeply appreciate Becky's ability to make eggs! Soooo many ppl burn them I cringe a little every time I watch someone else make scrambled eggs but Becky's were perfect not a spot of brown. I recently discovered "soft" scrambled eggs my family loves them better than any other right now. I add just a touch of heavy cream and they turn out fabulous. Great job Becky 😆
I have always known that Becky is a Queen and that she works harder than most of us mere mortals. She is a homesteading wife and mother of 4 after all! I know how hard farmer’s wives work, from observing my grandmother for years, so homesteading is much the same, if not more work maybe! However, I did not realise that the boys were homeschooled! Jake, I love that you took this video to really shine a light on Becky. She more than deserves the recognition, plus although I haven’t read any of the comments yet, I know that there will be hundreds of comments of admiration, love and respect for your Queen, and rightly so! Im tired after just watching a few minutes of what you do every day! You guys must just collapse in a heap at the end of each day! It’s admirable what all you get done. I have always thoroughly enjoyed watching your videos ever since I found you guys a few years ago! I really enjoyed this behind the scenes, a day in Becky’s life! No wonder Becky is such an incredibly fit mama just 3 months after giving birth! I wish I had Becky’s energy and drive. She is an amazing woman who I have always respected and liked very much, but after watching this, I have so much awe in her as well! Your boys have the best upbringing I can think of. Having spent most of my childhood on my grandfather’s dairy farm, I loved helping him with any chores that he would allow me to participate with! I know from that experience just how great it is growing up looking after animals and all of their needs and just taking care of everything that needs your attention, but also all the fun games you can invent, when you live on land and have so much space to play. Your boys are going to be such fine men when they are older, as they are such great kids and they have 2 amazing parents, both with unbelievable work ethics, kindness in your hearts and a love for all life. Becky does a great job, she reminds me then as I was young. I'm still concerned for her health as she had trouble after the delivery. Keep her safe and I'm sure she does too much, most good Mom's do. So watch over your Angel from heaven.

Honestly, as someone who's been keeping up with your channel for some time now, I think it would be hard for anyone to miss that Becky's got the knowledge, work ethic, and attitude that facilitates all the good things y'all do. I just worry about the rest of you trying to keep up. Besides that, I hope no one thinks that any full-time caregiver worth their salt is doing any less work than anyone in an office, in a courtroom, on a battlefield, or in an ER for a living - especially after the pandemic. It's a different kind of labor that in so many ways can give rise to a deeper kind of exhaustion than any other. If we haven't always appropriately valued it (or other labor traditionally done by women), it's something I hope we all keep working on until such misconceptions only exist in the past.

I really hope, especially after so many families had the experience of being at home with their kids for a year or more during the pandemic, that that myth's been debunked for good now. If it's not we have work to do to fix the world we live in. For teachers and nurses, say, too, who also are undervalued, and for similar reasons. Also anyone who watches this channel should have picked up by now that your spouse is always up late with you building stuff, carrying heavy stuff, being a human reference library for everything about the care and handling of livestock and plants... Holding the camera, smiling when she's tired, and invariably carrying a tiny human while doing it. It is good to honor her and the incredible expertise and work she adds to your farm and family. But dang, anyone who hasn't already seen her value hasn't been watching the same videos I have. TL;DR: You have an awesome partner and she and people like her should be seen for all they do. It's maddening when they aren't.

thanks for the peak at life on the farm, a hard life, great for some. as a child in Maine we had a small farm..it was truly nostalgia when you showed the seperator.. We had 2 cows, one a jersey, the other gurnesy. After milking, mother put the milk in large tin pans and left them on the counter. later she skimmed the cream off the pans. This cream was spoonable only. Thanks for listening.

TY, we really appreciate seeing Becky's life. But I am no stranger to this life style since this is my childhood. I am not a farmer. I definitely knew by 2 yo I wanted to be a doctor and worked as hard as you two doing what you want to do so that I became the best doctor I could be. I am so glad for the division of labor. I homeschooled my daughter and now my grandchildren. When I made the decision to keep her home I was a full time minister and she was right there with me. Meeting people and becoming very social. She did very well, ( she was only one tho,) so I give you major props Becky for your wonderful routine. You inspire me !
