Curious, why do people double the soft 16/17s? The chance of screwing yourself into a lower number without a chance to hit again then having dealer hit 21 on the card you would've hit on and won, it seems odd to me
See and this is what kills me Brother Brandon: Had you let your $300 ride instead of dropping down to $50, you would have the monster $600 double for a $1200 swing. Stop chasing and then lowering once you have caught up. Let that big bet ride!!!!!! you won the next 3 in a row (right before you dropped it) which would have given you and extra $1200. You have to maximize your runs Brother. The losses come and it's part of the game but playing it safe just cause you caught up isn't entertaining or effective long term. You lost $150 where you could have profited $1050 (1200-150)
Can you explain more about the "soft 18"? Is it normal 18? If so, it's quite a good hand. Why did you double, and pull one more card? It clearly haven't done well to you
I see that losing brings on the booze. No Diet Coke, Miller Light. Lose and catch a buzz. That helps. No vid yesterday? Got off the boat and on the airplane. travelin man.
