“I’ve only opened it on a wall twice” 😂 multiple head bangs too. I’m thinking at this stage it might be memory training might be the way to go. Very entertaining Sir 😂
@@mrdanielknight You can set this to automatically activate at slow speed in the settings. I leave it so and it really helps when I put my car in a multicar garage or driving away from a country parking were I hit those stone markers.
hi just come across your video ,in your owners manual it tells you what the lines mean in your reversing camera ...ie the 2 little lines indicate where the boot will open out too.........looks like user problem not car problem :)
Did you know that if you turn on the rear wash/wipe for the glass, there is a separate spray nozzle dedicated to cleaning the camera lens? So you shouldn’t have the rear visibility issue.
I can relate to hitting head on the tailgate and also the odd way that parking sensors work. Other things that seem to be hit and miss on mine: deployable side steps randomly turn off, remote start stop sometimes happens and sometimes doesn’t, CarPlay just doesn’t work sometimes if the phone is already plugged in when engine is started. Feels like there’s always some sort of surprise but like you I absolutely love the car.
You probably dont care at all but does anyone know of a way to get back into an instagram account..? I was stupid lost the account password. I would love any tips you can give me!
@Davion Fabian i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site through google and Im in the hacking process atm. Takes quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Heres the thing. I would never hit my head on the tail gate as id be tio short but then again i never open it until all 3 kids are in the car and im ready to pit the pram in. So odd you would open it first.
7:10 i actually have a 2017 sport with the same “base” speakers and a 2012 evoque with the upgraded speakers and oh my god it’s a night and day difference. and also i am experiencing problems with the parking sensors on the sport but not with the evoque. great video 💪🫶
I live in Australia and so your complaint about parking seemed quaint. It must be that all of UK is downsized compared to us. Our roads are wide, our car parking is (mostly) big enough and the RR Sport isnt even a huge car by most standards. But kids take up a lot of space so your options are few. We had a Tarago 8 seater which was terrific but its probably even longer than the RR sport.
Great video 👍 I’m thinking of getting one even though I’ve heard all the nightmare stories of engine failure 🙁 I’ve got the original tdv8 sport from 2008 and its brilliant but getting dated and really needs to be replaced with something that is bang up to date........I think 🤔
Question which is a better engine in the range rover sport tdv6 or the petrol straight 6 which have a better reliability diesel or petrol over all which is a better in mpg reliability share yr opinion to me iam in Jamaica I am thinking about buying one 2016 to 2019
@@paulwatson255 personally I’d pick the V8 diesel either the 3.6 or 4.4 which is probably the only option for the later sports in diesel format . If you were thinking of a v6 then I’d still keep with the diesel. I’m getting 20mpg around town and 30-33 ish on a run in my V8 diesel I wouldn’t touch the v6 diesel I’ve heard of many engine failures
@@alfiedog2942 k so what do u think petrol v6 or straight 6 because I stand beside a few diesel engines cars just can't stand that throttle sound but I guess .maybe more insulated so maybe noise not that bad k tell me little about the petrol
@@paulwatson255 only ever had one V8 petrol many years ago in a discovery sounds nice but fuel consumption was terrible only kept it for a year! I’m by planning on keeping my Sport V8 for as long as I can get parts for it 😃 currently owned for 7 years and it’s 14 years old but looks like new 👌good luck with your car hunting
😂😂 bruh you complain about simple things just change the stuff put your kids first and then put the stuff in the back , parking in a big place you can walk a little bit you can change the settings on the sensors parking I don't not what kind of music you hear but en my range all music sounds pretty good maybe you need to change the settings to but you never talk about the Mpg that is around on 18 miles on street and like 20-21 on the fwy the services is expensive but necessary because you do it right is not going to have a problem with it 🤷🏻♂️
He's seriously complaining about hitting his head and having to bend down because of the boot, pass whatever over from one side instead of moving to each side.
Range rovers are exactly the same as boats, the two happiest days of the owners lives are the day they buy and the day sell. Only ever buy a Range Rover brand new, and sell within 12 months, otherwise you actually couldn’t afford to buy one and certainly couldn’t afford to own one. If you buy a “cheapey” at two years old (because you can’t really afford a new one) expect misery and bills which will make you wish you’d bought new.
@@kenrehill8775 not necessary to dignify nonsense with an explanation... I have Range Rover sports as does my mates and other people I know in my neighbourhood and so I can’t relate with what you wrote therefore it’s nonsense .
Tailgate, use the reversing camera, only reverse up to the cross line on the camera and the tailgate will not hit the wall👍camera dirty use the rear wash wipe, cleans the camera lens, 2, put kids in car, then fold pushchair, then open tailgate 👍 3 if the RRS is “To Big’’ for you, trade it for a Focus 😜 I’m more that happy with my 2017 RRS autobiography dynamic SDV8 👍👊
