So much good information-women’s health when it comes to medical professions really has been on the back burner for years or even forever. I’m now in peri menopause and wondering why there isn’t more information or why hasn’t there been the same amount of information on this next phase of life as there is as someone entering puberty? Can this be included with school education at least high school level? Thank you for sharing your knowledge and for making it accessible.

I agree. We’re really left in the dark about what ‘could’ occur with our bodies in pregnancy, postpartum, perimenopause and beyond. I’m frustrated by the lack of real information so we can make informed choices at all stages of life. That’s why I decided to start this RU-vid channel ❤️

K- where were you when I was pregnant 9 years ago? All of your questions are running through my mind now as I'm dealing with PF issues. You are so right in your questions, nobody ever told me those things either.😢 Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and expertise! I also have subscribed.💕

I see you are Canadian. Why don't they have a women's clinic that deals with all this? complete with gynecologists, physiotherapists and pelvic floor therapists all in one place? what happens now is you wait for 8 or more months to see a gyno and they hand you prescriptions for hormones which have side effects, they can't even treat menopause.

Wouldn’t that be nice if we only had this! My suggestion is see a GP and ask for a referral to a pelvic floor physical therapist. In some cases extended benefits don’t even require a doctor’s note to see the physio.

I used to think that this issue is peculiar to the Nigerian healthcare system but it's interesting and at the same time painful ti hear that is also a big problem in Canada and other developed countries. Even as a males physiotherapist interested in women's health, I'll keep raising my voice for advocacy

Historically, it has always impacted women around the world, they just had to live with it. Now more and more women are standing up and saying no more of this, we want tools to fix our bodies.
