Had a friend told he needed Cemo. IF he went to the Cemo Clinic.....$12,,000. $. BUT he research in his health care plan OBW he was a health care worker ! Him & wife found out. If he went to his GP & they directed him to Cemo. $20. Co-pay/Office visit. That’s it for his cost !!!!! Fucking Crazy, ! We feel the frustration in the US also ! My Canadian friend ! ❤️

Mornin JeffieBear ☕. I'm having a second coffee this morning. Notification for your video popped up. Lifted my spirits up seeing you. I feel ya on the frustrating part of the pharmacy. So many stories about screw ups. Glad you got your insulin. The little deaf girl I've been taking care of for 15 years now is on a lot of medication and the stories of the pharmacy screw ups over the years, blows my mind. Thankfully her parents are always double checking everything. I've had my own frustrations with the pharmacies and thankful for my daughter and daughter in law being pharmacy techs to help with straightening it out. Your comment about keeping your head on sure is spot on. Find myself shaking my head a lot and hoping it doesn't fall off from the bs. Anyway, appreciate the update. Stay safe. Yep, I too have issues with pharmacies, as they seem to mess up much, and I have to use mail order now or pay more:( As we get older, more pills etc... the automated systems are void of real humans to talk to, and if they mess up, good luck getting anything fixed. I thought I had auto charge my credit card and refills at one time, then they kicked me out of the system... just like you....and after getting Dr. to resend prescriptions ... I was out of one med...what a pain! I know being in the states, its more expensive, and I had heard stories of Americans close to the border, driving up there for insulin, just to afford it, then they closed the borders :( Take care Bro, safe travels and all the BEST to you, family, and friends! Its a pain living from one province to another but once your meds supply gets sorted out it will fall into place but yes it is not that simple at tiimes. 👍👍🌟🌟🌟🌟👍👍

My pharmacy in On used to give me a six month supply.....don’t know what they do here....I get three months now and I’m not travelling.Sorry you have to go through this.

They like messing with you no matter where when it comes too Health Insurance. No matter what Policy I try too get in the US being single I can only get a $5k deductible. It sucks

My Dad was an insulin dependent diabetic. Took two different kinds every day. The cost was tremendous even with insurance, etc. I remember after he passed away, my Momma remarked that she didn't realize how much they were spending each month until she wasn't spending it any more. I wish the US was more progressive about universal health care for all of our citizens. It would benefit the country as a whole to have a healthier population, but it gets politicized and the people are the ones that suffer - physically and economically. I hope you can get re-imbursed man! You look like you feel better and a change is always good for us too! I hope you continue to enjoy the family time!

Your struggles with your medication makes me appreciate our NHS here in the UK even more , I hope you get it sorted its a worry I'm sure as well as very expensive

Jeffie Bear this is terrible what you're going through!!! ....it's the Same here in The States !! It's AWFUL....the persistent computer errors....only 1 or 3 month supply....facilities not properly communicating if you travel too far and need medical attention OR Meds , its a battle !! ...paying out of pocket....different info from place to place....AAAHHH!!!! I go through the same thing when I need my meds....every....dang....month .... -- and also true, because of that, I can't be too far away for long ...I was literally told by one of my best Doctors to " move " because im not receiving proper care anywhere I've been.. So.......knowing what you're going through worries me and ticks me off, -- you need those Meds and I'm angry they don't get more on board helping you instead of putting you through a ' D ' circus ! :( :/

Pharma care should be taking care of the bill either way. Get in touch with a disability/ social worker that is part of employment and income assistance. They will cover your meds Cost 100% with the proper paper work. If not get in touch with an endocrinologist and explain to them your $$ situation and needing insulin or pills relating to diabetes. Just a few ways you can use the system for help !

Is there anyway that you could check into drugstore chains that are both in Canada and the USA that might take your insurance? That would maybe help when you plan to come to visit us. I would also love to see you in person. I don’t know if the prices might be competitive with what you’re paying now, but that might be a solution to your medicine “problems” that you’re having. I know what it’s like to be on a fixed income (I’m on Social Security) and have medical issues. Take care, continue the videos, and as usual…safe travels!

Costco dispensing fee is 4 bucks. And I’m not saying it’s a fix all but it’s time to leave shoppers drug mart. Shoppers drug art prices are absolutely insane. Costco only marks up 10%. Shoppers is upwards of 30%. Just something to consider. Plus the 60$ a year membership will save you 10cents on fuel. Good luck to you. The choice is yours. Sometimes it pays to be a member somewhere because you get better service (SOMETIMES)
