You are absolutely correct! I have listened to many, many groups over my many, many years, and they are without a doubt, steller in vocals and instrumentation. My wife and I could listen to so many other bands on RU-vid, and do now and again, but always seem to come back to this group much more often.............that say's something.

@@lynwessel2471 That date cannot get here fast enough. I can't put my finger on it, but for some reason this group has something very magical about it. I really hope that they consider another concert at the same venue, possibly this summer. It seems as though it would be a much easier operation since they have already have done the first one and there is hardly any learning curve at that point. I most certainly will be there, and we are 3200 miles away! Anyway, thank you for keeping folks informed on this incredibly band.........They are a very special and incredibly talented group.

This ^^^. Thank you, Stuart. I am absolutely not, and never was, a 10cc fan. Once again, though, F&F takes a less-than-spectacular song, upcycles it and makes it their own. And the result is just plain awesome. One of my favorite examples of this is Sammie absolutely crushing "Hip to my Heart" -- a song so silly that only Sammie could get me to pay attention, probably a hundred times by now.

I was and am a fan of 10cc. It was highly produced, highly inventive pop music. In its genre of studio music, I thought it ranks amongst the best. Covers are difficult to assess. Are you looking at how well the group imitates the original? Are you looking for a different interpretation? It’s very personal. And speaking personally, I thought that the F&F version of “Love is the answer” better than the original. “Telling me lies” better than the original ( i am now condemned to hell for suggesting that anyone could beat Linda Ronstadt at anything). This song however; it is slightly different from 10cc; a bit less smooth (produced?) and I don’t know if it beats the original or not. My favourite 10cc track is “Mandy fly me”. Not just the song but the associations I have with it from who I was with at the time it was released. Graeme Gouldman from 10cc is, for me, one of the least known song writing heroes. One of his earliest songs was bought by the Hollies and became the superlative “Bus Stop”. If you listen to the lyrics of each song, the words aren’t there to fill a space or to rhyme with the previous lines. They are crafted to mean something; something funny but mostLy something meaningful. Great work.

@Leon Erin Actually guys I’ve heard it claimed this was their biggest hit. Can’t see it myself. It always surprises me. At least that what I heard said in a documentary on them by the BBC in 2015. But maybe that was based on records sold rather than wide success and recognition. For that I’m Not In Love wins hands down Mind you I prefer the tracks like I’m Mandy Fly Me and Wall Street Shuffle. Sheet Music is one of my all time top 3 albums

We saw 10cc on St Davids hall in Cardiff and they were stunning and this cover is pure class.

Yes I have heard of them even Lexington Lab Band are professional, I guess I favor F&F for the way their harmonies mesh.

@@dandydon6049 I agree the HSCC are very good, but after listening to many of their songs, I don't feel the girls vocal are at the same level of the girls here. They are good, very good, but not exceptional as the F&F girls.

I agree, it's my favourite too. It's a masterful bit of production, the way Tim builds the song into a climax. Not dynamics, that's just volume. But the mood, the level of excitement ebbs and flows like in a well-written story. Far better than any treatment by 'name' groups. It's world class, IMO. ..and of course, Chase Truran is simply superb on that cut.

Once again, they hit a home run with this one. Absolutely worth it to become a patron to get the sneak peek of the releases - and this one made me giddy when I saw what it is.

Been watching them for a few years now, and still the way they Harmonize is right up top with a very select few bands. It amazes me, even there really old live ones are spot on

They just continue to amaze me with how musically talented they all are and this one really his home for me because it was one of my favorites growing up. They absolutely knocked it out of the park and then some. Difficult song to perform and master like they have.

Couldn't tell you about music per se, but from my days reading for audio books, it was about 2-3 hours' time to edit/process/&c each hour of audio. This is more complex, so probably more time!

At least 4 days, because Tim shows up in four different shirts! :-) And that doesn't count the post-production, which is probably significant.

Yes, takes me back to my early teens.
