Very well... we love Meggie Ralph, one of the best love stories of all times. Richard Chamberlain was fantastic and Rachel ward was awesome. They were the only ones that could have played these parts. This when movies were movies. I love it after all these years. .

È inutile…. Questo è un cast “” Da mille e una notte””. Mai realizzato uno eguale. Supera tutti gli sceneggiati ! Io lo definisco il filmato di tutti i filmati sul vertice della scenografia, unico, come unico l’attore Chamberlain: un autentico protagonista da ipnosi , una “”calamita “”sia dal punto di vista fisico che dalla personalità originale tutta sua. Lui riesce a sprigionare un’infinità di consensi sia a chi guarda le sue recitazioni,sia a chi gli sta a fianco.Non ci resta che applaudire all’unanimità. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏.E tanti 😘 come noi 🇮🇹ni aperti,trasparenti e sentimentali.😂💫 sappiamo trasmettere.⭐️

The Thorn Birds is my al times favorite of all mini series.Richard Chamberlain, and Rachel Ward were such a dynamic pair together. How tender, beautiful, and yet heart felt hurtful love was for one another. It remains so, even to the very end when he died in Meggis arms. For so many years now, even before The Thorn Birds, I've had a loving crush on this man. HE SURE IS BEAUTIFUL, EVEN NOW!!!!
I do hope TV picks up this mini series of the Thorn Birds. It should be seen by those who yet haven't seen it. Dynamic, superior actors added such a beautiful flavor of true love that hurt deeply, but stayed its course for many years. Time was never able to break this amazing hold of love that Father Ralph had for his rose, Meggie. Even death couldn't lay claim to this amazing love, as Meggie held, and soulfully wept at the death of her beloved Ralph.
I watch this series in 1983 when I was 16 years old, and still today, almost 40 years later, it just breathtaking. Me, and probably several millions people had a huge crush on Richard Chamberlain(and all the other had a crush of Rachel Ward)😍. I actually wrote to him, and got a picture with his autograph on, all the way to little Norway. The thorn birds is my favorite mini-series of all time, and I watch this every year in may. No other film or series had more influence on me than this series.

I agree with the person below.He didn't belong to the priesthood.This kind of love only comes around once in a lifetime.God is always with us.No matter what we do.He could have had both,if he was a Protestant priest.Being a Catholic priest is all consuming.
