Yep, I remember getting the NS units in the 90's on the BNSF no toilets or refrigerators. They had a bucket and bags on them for employees to crap in. They had an ice chest for water. The Union finally took it to Federal Court saying the crap buckets and bags weren't sanitary and won. The Houston Belt Terminal switch engines didn't have toilets either. The reason for this is because the Belt said you could use the yard office or employees locker room restrooms. In fact if we tried to put an NS unit without a toilet in the lead of a consist the BNSF crew would turn it down the lead units had to have a toilet and operating refrigerator.

@@TealGuy if they're taking time off that they're not supposed to be taking off in the first place then yeah I'd that's just fine. If they want to take time off they should advise BNSF that they would like to take time off A few weeks in advance

@@TrainsUSRF if they're child breaks an arm they still have to go to work that doesn't change anything I'm sorry you're kid broke their arm but you signed up for a job that cannot afford to halt it's business those trains carry millions of dollars worth of cargo at any given time and stopping that train from getting to point A to point B because a kid broke their arm would be stupid. Look at it from a business standpoint. Imagine if you were the owner of BNSF and you lost a chunk of your profit because one of your employees didn't come into work. Hell I would be pissed off too so the punishment program is great teaches the employees that it is not okay to skip work because the job that they work is VERY important cannot afford to stop.
