Awesome dude. Now you go to the real thing. The uncharted lands. Bakker goes totally uncompromising in the Aspect Emperor. He will be relentless. Everything you read so far will take new meaning by the end of the Aspect Emperor. Wait for it for your final judgment of the characters. Their story is still in midway. Proyas, Esmenet, Akka and others have such amazing and bleak paths ahead of them. Such challenges and revelations. Bakker's writing is so thoughtful and subtle. Notice how we stopped having a Kellhus pov after a point? Everything he does has a reason. I cannot wait for your Aspect Emperor videos. It is always a thrill to view other reader's experience with these books that read like nothing else
That's so good to know! I've heard so many great things about The Aspect Emperor, and I can't stop thinking about what's to come, so I'll probably be starting that sooner than I thought.
Really awesome breakdown! Kellhaus is too superhuman, man, I know that's the point, that's literally what they're bred for, but he's never really challenged as a result. At the same time, I very much dislike him, so him being like that just adds to it. The guy's a walking atrocity.
