I wonder what paper you are using. I have something similar...Hahnemühle Turner, also Burgundy...it sucks in the water and dries quickly.

In your painting of apples you used ink for your drawing, but for the flowers in the vase you used pencil. Why the difference? I feel that you overworked the vase. At one stage the glass glistened. Did you, at any time, wait for the paint to dry or was it all wet on wet?

I struggle whit this. How to make background leafs, twigs and so on, “fussy” And where I should make more dark leafs, twigs. So it is pleaIng to watch. In the end I can make the flower by everything else are “same” dark.. But...I know what vas is, it’s the same in Swedish..🤓🤣. namaste 🙏🏽 💛

My problem with my own painting techniques is I would've stopped painting the vase at 4:39 I become apprehensive and find it difficult to go the extra mile. I fear I will ruin my painting. Then I wind up doing it about 3 times over and over.

Are you looking at an actual vase of flowers, or a picture or is this straight from your head?

I guess you're supposed to guess at colors, when to dry, when to proceed. Watching someone paint is not teaching, therefore, imho this is not a tutorial.
