@@ronduff4325 When Fine was asked to join the Stooges he had a violin act. He was offered $200 a week if he would forget the violin. Larry said, "For $200 a week I'll forget everything!"
If ever anyone were immortal, it would be the Stooges. Even now, seventy plus years later, their madcap magnificence still causes people to laugh till they cry. RIP boys, your work still brings much needed joy and laughter. Plus, always gotta love Moe’s trademark line @ 3:03 - “Spread out!” LOL
Been watching these guys since I was a kid in the 60s. It's been some 70-80 years since they did their best stuff. Nobody's come close to duplicating them since.
They were actually the best slapstick comedy ever by slapping each other. They were actually comedy show geniuses. Moe Howard was actually the brain of the 3 Stooges.
LOL no matter how many times I've been watching the Stooges since I was 5 I still see it as TOP comedy show even in 2018👍😜 I'm a victim of circumstance 😜
They keep hitting and poking each other the howards and fine family would be proud and laughing always a classic to watch after all these years later thanks for a good laugh appreciate you guys job well done you should be proud ! Joe

I wonder if since all the Three Stooges' shorts were made during Mack Sennett's lifetime...if he went to see them in the theater and just laughed and laughed and laughed...BTW, many of the supporting actors for the Stooges also worked for Sennett during the silent era (most notably Vernon Dent).
Jason N Stegall Good point, perhaps he did. I just found out he actually made the first talkie in 1928 though it was a short. Of course The Jazz Singer is regarded as being the first though it came out the year after but was full length.
For someone that was a nice kind man in real life, Moe was a BULLY in the shorts. Geez. HA! I could’ve never worked with thee Stooges and takin all those smacks.

I've seen them all over 100 times and I still crack up. Showed the Stooges to my daughters when the were younger and they didn't get it. My son on the other hand thought they were hilarious. Must be a guy thing.
Ok, fellas. I'm 66 years old and the mother of three. The third was born by cesarean section. I watched the three stooges when I was growing up while in elementary school. They were hilarious then, and they are hilarious now. I have never heard of this as being a guy thing. That's news to me. Never heard of such a thing before. Guy thing. Really??? Women did play significant parts in their programs. Whatever.
During the Great Depression, you can go to a movie theater and see shorts from the Three Stooges, Our Gang, Charlie Chase and Laurel and Hardy, several newsreels, several cartoons, features from Shirley Temple, Greta Garbo, or the Marx Brothers, all for a dime.

I come across people that say its too violent and encourages violent behavior. Hell, I watched all the episodes thousands of times. I do not go around hitting others. Thats what the religious folk do.
I don’t remember the episode’s name but Curly pokes Moe in the eye and Moe does the two fingers in the eyes back to Curly. Larry laughs - “you got onesies, he got twosies”. Moe says “Yeah, well here’s fivesies” and slaps Larry. Classic.

My Boys, Moe Larry and Curley, reminds me of Polosi, Schiff and Nadler, I must say I have to apologize to the 3 Stooges for putting them in the same category, it is a dis service to the original 3 stooges.
Curly: Not me! (slaps Curly) Curly: I’m not going! (slaps Curly again) Curly: I’m still not going! (slaps Curly a third time) Me: Now are you coming? Curly: Soiently!
The great flying banana into the mouth trick 3 different times. Or Curly kicks Moe in the butt repeatedly while dancing. Moe then kicks Curly in the stomach.
