I am glad tiger II (10,5) is gone, the thing was incredibly OP. Sad to see the maus go though, also interested to see this Ostwind II in action, as long as the br is decently higher XD

New players wouldn’t even know about the 105 tiger. Almost like it didn’t exist

Glad they fix that by still annoying, I try to sneak and get comfortable but as soon as I am leading few kill shoot half my team are gone.........it very hard to hide when there several enemy plane flying all over the place.

@@marcowinkler8225 ohh yeah try playing heavy tank like mediums tank is impossible.......on a long run yeah my tiger couple got like 40mph but when urban area it slow down even rotating the track take time and I did follow the angling of our mighty box armour.

Well the Ferdinand isnt a tiger anymore and the 105 is no longer aviable for normal or even Premium purchase so no point of including them.

@@sunburntmeduza7372 i know that it has that name but as the just the hull is a lightly midified Version of the vk4501. If we are going for prototyp-hulls with a casemate then the dicker max and the VFW should have been included too,as both got build on the chassies of different tiger-prototypes.

@@guppiapfeljustleopardthing1857 Not going to argue about it but of what I red on wikipedia the 10.5cm K Gp.Sfl. Dicker max was built on a heavily modified Pz.Kpfw 4 chassis. When it comes to the Wersuchsflakwagen (Grille-10) I could not find that it would have been based on an already existing tank. Someone may correct me if I'm wrong. However the 12.8cm Sfl. auf. VK 30.01 H (Stürer Emil) was built on an elongated VK 30.01 H chassis that then led to the VK 45.01 H program or Tiger as we know it today.

And to the VFW i have a book at home called "Werdegang der deutschen Panzerwaffe" About 35 years old and 589 pages long. On Page 376 you can see a very early prototype of the tiger (it doesnt state the date). Through page 376-379 Varius prototyps get showen, theyr storys/backgrounds explained and theyr fate stated (scrapped or reused). Page 377 tells the story of set prototyp. Only 1 existet and had a wodden mockup turret. Later in 1943 a 8,8cm flak as well some changes got added . More isnt stated in the book. The grille you were refering to was a 105mm haubize auf SelbstfahrLafette panzer3. The wespe was on a pz4.

the problem was the spare parts were not enough and it was very complicated to repair.

The Tiger didn't had as much problems with the transmission as the Panther.

@@heroninja1125 Let me correct you that one. Ferdinand was the earlier version and Elephant was a slightly upgraded version used after the battle of Kursk. Elefant saw the addition of an MG 34 in the hull were it was welded shut on the earlier ferdinand. the other major noticeable improvement was the addition of a cupola for the commander. If you want proof; just google it. I also want to apologise for the bad phrasing in my last comment.

They’re still in the game. Those who have researched even 1 point into any of the vehicles being removed from the tech tree will be able to research and keep them. The Maus will be researchable for events.

@Random Potato Bulldogs and IS-2's aren't bad as long as you can position yourself to get the first shot because you can lol pen the bulldog. IS-2 isn't hard to pen either, sometimes you get bullshit bounces but that's just war thunder. The IS-2 has like a 30sec reload so I think it's balanced. What isn't balanced is fighting american T34's and later model Cents that can lol pen you and hull down to make themselves impenetrable to you. Cents aren't so bad when they aren't hull down, just lower plate them and watch the fireworks. But the T34's are like Luke Skywalker shooting the death star. The weakpoints are so small that you're better off shooting at the barrel and going from their. The Tiger E should move down to 5.3 imo. Or more tanks from other nations need to fill out a better 5.7 lineup so that the E isn't uptiered to 6.7 literally every match.

No I think the Pz III is more recognizable overall, nearly any WWII tank game has it in there right off the bat. Most recognizable tank of WWII IRL was probably the Sherman.

@@sithrulezz423 If you were to ask a random peson to tell you the name of the panzer 3 off a picture, I'm pretty sure most people wouldn't reply correctly. With the tiger however, many would recognize the huge box with a round turret back thanks to the tank's myth.

Pretty sure when they referred to them by that, they meant what company designed designed the turrets.

Krupp isnt a weapon Designer its a manufacturer the designe where made by Henschel and Porsche and produced by krupp

It was (kind of) produced... They even said what happened. The japanese bought one from the germans, the germans produced it and shipped it over to japan, but it never arrived there. The tank sunk together with the ship it was on. But yeah... the Maus shouldn't be removed.

The japanese underwent a trial run for a panther and a tiger, both were approved but at the time japan did not have the proper size of submarine to ship it, so as the war went on the germans refunded japan, and took back the tanks that were stationed in a warehouse in italy and used them instead to fight on the western front.

I actually fought him in a Panzer IV F2 and trust me, only unexperienced players doesn't know his weakness, the turret and the separation between the turret and the hull, if you shoot there, is a one-shot kill

Well... Before the new pemetration formula apcr was the only way to pen a jumbo on the front. Still today, a hull down jumbo needs apcr to be killed

They've always planned to remove the 10.5 and panther 2 because they weren't actually made, the Maus was, so shouldn't be removed just because they compressed the brs too much
