I have made the decision to get into trading at the age of 53. I haven't started yet, as I am soaking up as much information as possible to help form a tentative strategy. This video is invaluable. And so are the interviews with the notable traders. I'm very glad you take the time to do this.

In trading, possessing technical analysis skills is not sufficient on its own; discipline and emotional maturity play crucial roles in achieving success. Embracing the mindset of "time in the market vs. timing the market" proves valuable, especially during market fluctuations. I attribute my growing daily earnings to Flora Elkin's valuable insights and daily trade signals, coupled with my commitment to continuous learning, managed to grow a nest egg of around 127k to a decent 532k. Kudos to the journey ahead!
It is really refreshing to see a comment about Flora Elkin.I have worked with her also for months now, reached out after reading more about her on the internet. she simplifies matters, whether it's a market surge or drop; her approach consistently keeps you ahead of the trend, She's a guru i'll say
Nice to see this here, Flora Elkin's understanding of market indicators is impressive. She knows exactly when to enter and exit trades for maximum profit. her siignals are top notch
Over the years, I've been a part of numerous trading programs, sifting through a barrage of information. Yet, nothing has come close to the sheer clarity, depth, and precision of Flora's insights. It's akin to finding a diamond in a coal mine.
I like the part where you can scan for low RMV - imagine how easy things get after that. Superb! Thanks for posting Richard👍🙂. This could really help everyone. This brings you one step closer to understanding the operator in the background - the smart money that moves these stocks.
From experience, this is one of the most powerful price actions ive had in my own trades. Especially when the stock shows sideways tightness in market correction days, these stocks just bounce up once the market pressure is lifted. Caveat that I limit my stock universe to minervini's trend template. Hope y'all launch deepvue in India, would make my weekend routine a lot faster :D, and as always thanks for the rich plethora of learning resources.
Richard, this is great! I have been using something similar for my trades. These are in the same vein as O'Neil's cup with handle or Minervini's VCP pattern. If you couple the low rmv with a low volume, it works very favorably.
Excellent work. I like the fact that your RMV dropped to zero during those 3 tight bars on COIN, something the standard Bollinger Band Squeeze failed to detect.
Great work Richard and Deepvue. Just one question. I have difficulties buying the breakout out of these tight areas. Is it possible to buy it at the low of a tight range? I'm not always connected when the market opens... And I always get in too late. Thanks for your advice.
Hi set early alerts below the breakout of the range so you can watch the chart as it pushes through. Also focus on less stocks so you can execute better
Hey Richard, I really admire your content and I hope for you to be very successful! You will be the next in the row of Jesse, Bill and Mark... I try to be successful in trading, but didn't find the best trading environment for me yet :(. I wanted to know which broker and scanner do you use? Is it the marketsurge? And for broker? I like IBD. Can you honestly recommend some of the tools like "swing trader" or the "leaderboard", just to get more information etc. Thank you so much in advance!!!
Great video. I really love deepvue, I am using it since last December. Great for scanning and the custom indicators are amazing. Do you have a minumum dollar volume and a minimum ADR cutoff for the stocks you are trading?
20 million is probably the lower end but ideally greater than 50 million. ADR I don’t have a set cutoff but I do want to see that it’s a stock that can move
Here is the translation to English: Could you please do an episode on how to do position sizing and progressive exposure? How is this related to average gain and average loss? Can you provide some practical applications and examples for a simple demonstration? Thank you.
Great Video, yes I agree many top Gurus use the tight contraction strategy especially Pardeep Bonde, just wondering if the Indicator that you created is available on TC as well or is it only for your Platform?
As far as I know, there is nothing like this pre-built in TC2000. I use a custom PCF to screen/sort for this (both on weekly and daily). I'm not sure how RMV is calculated in Deepvue, but I use a ratio between open|close range and 10D ADR that I call "Open Close Range Compression" or "OCRC" for short. Formula I use is: abs((C-O)/O) / ((H0/L0+H1/L1+H2/L2+H3/L3+H4/L4+H5/L5+H6/L6+H7/L7+H8/L8+H9/L9)/10-1) Anything
@@RichardMoglen Hi Richard. I replied to this user with a way to approximate this in TC2000 and my comment was deleted. Did my comment violate a RU-vid policy? If so, which one?
