We have, like most countries, all sorts of Oxycodone pain pills in the UK. I had a skateboarding accident now like 14 months ago I had to have most of my thigh, hip & knee reinforced/ replaced & their faveorite was “Oramorph” which is Morphine Sulphate in green syrup. I could get Oxy if I complained enough. These days I buy it from ASAP market, real OC style Oxy 80s that aren’t tamper resistant, they leak out of Eastern Europe where there is a lot more corruption. An Oxy 80 in a blister pack is about £20/ $20. The UK NHS does not prescribe Xanax - but will prescribe lorazepam, clonazepam, diazepam etc., and you can get Xanax from private doctors for about £60, but I got 15x 1mg alprazolam this very morning, the UK is small enough for most mail deliveries to take 1-2 days, and they bring it at like 8am. That cost about £18. These aren’t pressed bars, they’re Serbian medicine in real packaging. We didn’t have an “opioid epidemic” here, but they definitely don’t hand them out too easy. You can still buy codeine cough syrup over the counter without a prescription, you can buy promethazine in chemists, it’s a bit more underground but between laxer regulation and the darknet there are definitely pill poppers everywhere. Edit, I should mention asking for codeine cough syrup though technically available will usually get you asked to just leave.
