I think Blue Side (the full edition) should be on the list for j-hope too. He has so much variety, it's really hard to get a good picture (I think every ARMY would agree his style is the hardest to describe/pin down because of the versatility) but Blue Side is like the singular example of a softer, ballad-type song. Safety Zone is a little too but it's more of a wistful nostalgic-vibe and less melancholic than Blue Side. Just throwing that out there. :)
42:44 Just a secret that nobody talks about Male Kpop idols actually continue to go to university to postpone their military enlistment by a few years. It's the easiest and most legal way for them to do it, because the Korean government doesn't have any consideration for pop singers. But normally they'd do it at a normal or online university. What's special about Jin is that he got his degree at a famous top university in Seoul. So it's really impressive, and to this day, the boys still praise him for that.
They postpone the university for the military not the way around.. that's why first year of college the boys usually older than the girls bc most of them choose to serve their term b4 they start uni so it wont affect thier chance of future job opportunities
@@LPnerd Actually most Kpop male idols have to go to military by the end of their 28th birthday. The 30 years age limit only counts for male idols that received an cultural merit award from the South Korean gov't, which so far Bangtan members are the only one to qualify for that postponement. Other than that, every other male idol has to leave before their 29th birthday.
What a beautiful coincidence to dive in to bts on their 10th anniversary 😂 been an army for ten years and I’m grateful for it everyday, bts changed my life in all the best ways
The purple colour actually started as an Army project to surprise BTS during a concert in Korea. It was before the Army bombs could change colour, so everyone there wrapped their bomb in a purple bag all at the same time. It was then that V, on the spot, made up the meaning of purple. So in some ways it was an organic collaborative effort b/n Army and the members. Purple in Korean is bora or something like that, hence borahae or I purple you was born.
well✌️. The real story is; at that time BTS was having a concert in the Philippines around 2016. The Army already had an army bomb that could adjust the color of the light by a system connected to the Bighit operator. well, on day 1, bighit set up army bombs with blue lights. Then on Day 2, bighit set the army bomb light to purple. So, when the whole venue was filled with army bomb lights that glowed purple, that's when V was inspired to make up the meaning of purple. Apparently, from what V revealed about purple, it was Japan, the next city for the BTS concert, making the city decorated with purple lights everywhere, in buildings, on the roads and so on. as a welcome greeting for BTS who is going to have a concert there. and it began to be followed in every subsequent city, when BTS held a world tour. as in the usa, arab emirates, london, etc. the cities where BTS concerts were filled with purple lights, until finally purple became the iconic color of BTS n Army officially. The previous one was silver. and since then was born the expression "i purple you". "borahae". 💜
we don't really care when you are pausing...we actually love it when you are totally investing yourself reading and understanding every statement because none of those infos are useless...we actually hate it when ppl just ignore those texts...so i would recommend you to take your time reading subs and understand them........we watch the vedios even if they are 3hour long😂😄
Exactly... Take your time... We will be okay with pausing and speaking whatever genuine thought you have... 'We true to yourself',that the very first thing i learnt from BTS... and it changed me fully
I also wanna write this, I dont like when he just read the chats and not give his attention to BTS video, like what the purpose of reacting this video if he just want to read the chat and not the info on video. And he talk out of topics a lot😏
@@nindyadhisa357 not really I respect your opinion but even when he was reading chats I don't think he missed something major and well since he is doing a live chat isn't it important to check on live comments in order to make sure he didn't misunderstand anything or he isn't going in a wrong direction with some info so I dont think that would be a problem and I personally enjoy when they talk even if it is off topic since it feels like interacting rather than just staring at the screen so yeah
@@premin22 how is he learning when he is missing so much from his talking over everything? I'm not trying to be rude here, but for yourself. look at the reaction channels, that don't pause, and those that do and check out the numbers for yourself. I was trying to help a new guy. you guys are not helping.
It's not even the racism and backlash from the western music industry, they also had to deal with disrepect and being undermined from the very beginning by the Korean music industry. They didn't just pave the way for others...they literally had to crave a space for themselves within their own borders. Bighit was basically an indepentent label and just like any country, labels, corporations and media are basically married so they were shit on and often left out of the traditional forms of promotion at home. The Japanese market was a huge breakthrough for them before their first music show win in Korea 2! years after their debut (beside the almost sweep of best rookie award show wins they had in 2013). All idols work hard, but they had to work their asses off even to get their foot in the door. They've been treated poorly by the music industry in general. That's why Army is as protective as they are, they had to be. The name was fated.
Actually in kpop groups disband a lot and most groups lost members for bts being 7 and still have all the members 10 years after and they love each others more and more and now every time a member release his solo project they promote it on their social media or when they go live and tell us to love them equally is so endearing and they keep telling us to wait untill 2025 when they'll reunite again after finishing their military service the only group i could trust to never disappoint their fans and happy 8 years to me of stanning bts
Just to help with context and perspective, a lot of the things you recognize as familiar between BTS and the other groups you stan, originated with BTS. Prior to BTS, kpop groups didn't let people see what happened behind scenes, they weren't typically allowed to be anything other than gorgeous and cool (let alone outright dorky), they didn't have variety shows or "eldest brothers who are chill" or creative input...that's all stuff BTS (and BigHit) introduced to the industry. That's stuff big companies that wanted to recreate BTS' formula started selecting for or just straight manufacturing after they saw how much fans loved it with BTS. Now every group has a "crackhead concept" and a "goofy eldest hyung" and a "maknae who adores his hyungs" and "songwriting credits" and an "androgynous king" and their own variety content. And BTS also made room for non-traditional visuals. Because Bang PD prioritized artistry and talent over looks, 3/7 members that debuted in BTS were heavily criticized for their looks (still are by visual-stans in the kpop world). But after companies saw that fans could accept (and WORSHIP) non-traditional visuals, that opened doors too. This is some of the stuff we mean when we say "BTS paved the way." They paved the way in the states but they (and their company) totally reshaped the k-pop industry and the opportunities idols have and the content idol fans get. So you may see stuff BTS do and think "oh, my other faves do that too!" but just remember, BTS did it first and is a huge part of the reason others are able to follow that path.
Well said! Truly BTS paved the way…senior and younger generation artists do acknowledge this!! The 7 guys are just so humble though…they’ve always said the older gens inspired them and paved the way….so cool and so inspiring.
Yes you are correct on every point. Whatever BTS does, Whatever BTS has the kpop world tries to replicate, they accused BTS of Plagiarism on a number of occassion's however it's the rest of the kpop world that copy our brave, talents, lads.
Mm for some reason there's something about it I don't particularly love 😅. There's nothing wrong with people complimenting their looks of course (especially suga, cause if you know you know😶) but saying he's a "pretty boy" feels just a little degrading to me (cause for one he's not a "boy" he's a man). So saying he's a handsome/gorgeous man or good looking guy feels more appropriate in that case if you know what I mean. Saying "pretty boy" doesn't fit to me (or rather it doesn't sound like a compliment to me) tho its not something crazy to say, I just felt like there are better ways to say they're handsome or pretty yk🙂. All that said that's just my personal opinion really, i agree the rap line doesnt always get praised as much as they should for their looks
I’m not sure your aware, but your comparing BTS to stray kids a lot, perhaps it’s because you were introduced to stray first. Understand BTS did things that were laughed at, jeered and put down. Then when what BTS did (that was laughed at and not done in K-pop) was successful, they set a standard. Now everybody does it. Chances are, When you compare BTS to stray kids for doing something, your comparing BTS to to someone who copied BTS lolol. 💜
You'll find that a lot of trends, concepts, and social media content from other kpop groups are really just following BTS's blueprint. In 2017 (right after they won the first BBMA for social artists) the kpop industry crapped itself and suddenly every other act was revamping or creating social media accounts to try to emulate what they did to connect to fans. Same thing with talk show circuits, performances, etc. It's pretty common knowledge that BTS sets or popularizes something and the others add it to their own to-do list. Even the creation of some of the more popular bands now were created to compete against BTS -- the Big Three companies looking to recruit and cultivate groups based on what fans like about BTS -- ie: writing and producing (mostly unheard of before BTS), their relatable vibe, more authentic artistry, their behind-the-scenes and extra content, etc. (This is not a knock on those groups who have worked hard to earn their success.) A lot of fandoms don't like BTS because they think it detracts from their faves. But really, BTS kicked open the doors so that their faves could find a bigger audience. Everyone wins. And the kings who brought kpop to the rest of the world get the appropriate cut of accolades.
There were a lot of groups before BTS that were involved in songwriting, for example Bigbang, SHINee, B.A.P, Highlight, EXID & Block B to name some of them.
@@kazza3282 I also liked groups such as Big Bang, SHINee, B.A.P, and Highlight. However, the person who wrote the above did not say that only BTS wrote and composed the song. If I do what you said, senior singer Seo Taiji and Boys also wrote and composed music before that. And many rappers write and compose lyrics. It's like he didn't ignore the senior singers before that, so I don't want to cause any misunderstanding.
I still laugh at the attempt some trying to emulate BTS. It's better to be who you actually are. Didn't they get this basic message? That's the whole idea in the first place. BTS is just themselves. So be yourself and you won't have to copy anyone. Who knows, you may start a new trend....
Above 140 is considered a genius level IQ. The average person is around 85-115. So, scientifically, Namjoon is considered a genius because his is 148 😊
@@marirezende8478 let me think, frist off all Korean kids are tested. second; V, Jimin Jin and maybe JK were sitting at a table talking. I think a run BTS episode? So I got it from their own mouths.
Omg its true in BTS Jimin is a black belt and i believe JK is a red belt in Taekwondo. In Stray Kids we have Felix and Ateez has San. They all act cute, have extreme duality, are amazing dancers, and could kick our asses while looking fluffy and cute af lol
@@dr6959 ahhh yeah. It wasnt like huge statement from jin. Just like jimin and jk, jin just blurted out that he also has a blackbelt in taekwondo. I think it was jimin he was talking to (or was it JHope) when he mention it. These members just said it one time or captured on cam 1 time. Jimin has blackbelt Jk has red black belt like junior blackbelt Jin blackbelt
I can't wait for you to see their amazing talent, I'm a StayArmy, I discovered Stray Kids first so they will always be my number 1 group, but bts has a talent and drive that is unmatched.
Love StayArmys coz they’re some of the nicest fandoms around. BangChan is so respectful and has said his love and respect for RM, JK and the whole BTS. I think fanwars are stupid. They shld not hate on other fandoms/artists….they shld reserve that anger towards the corrupt entertainment and media industry that abuses so many artists.
Stray kids was formed to outdo bts but there is allot of respect and love between the groups. Straykids is 4th generation and they are remarkable definitely.
The BTS story is the real David & Goliath story in the Korean Music Industry. It is an underdog story that is not uncommon for small labels outside the big 3 in SK's massive Kpop Industry. However, Bangtan Sonyeondan is the only group that succeeded beyond any one's expectations even those of BTS themselves. The magic lies in how these 7 scrappy and fierce young men who 10 years ago most of them were still in their teens defied the odds, believed in themselves, trusted their mentor & boss Bang PD, shook off all the arrows pointed their way, weathered every mistreatment, every calculated sabotage by the powerful music companies that monopolized Kpop, how they rose above all the negative publicity from a controlled media and withstood a collective targeted multiple social media attack by other fandoms. Truly disheartening. Yet these 7 kids circumvented that prejudiced judgmental kpop system and broke that proverbial glass ceiling over and over again thru sheer grit, discipline and an indefatigable work ethic. BTS created and developed their own strategy to reach their fans because they were shunned by established TV variety shows. So they started personal blogs, Vlives, their own variety show Run BTS and other media content. They realized early on how Army was also affected by their hardships and vowed that they would always do their best and work extremely hard so that their fans would not be embarassed to be called BTS A.R.M.Y They saw Army as their true friends who like them experienced all the horrible stuff that they experienced. They recognized that Army protected them and when Army grew in numbers globally, they saw Army's massive power and reach. To this day, BTS still asks "Why them?" They know that there are other kpop groups who are hardworking and talented too. What is it that gained them such a loyal following of people from toddlers to the elderly from nearly every country on this planet? That is the true magic of these courageous, intelligent, extremely talented, honest and humble young men. Those big 3 companies have tried to replicate it. They will never succeed because there is no formula. There will only be one Bangtan Sonyeondan. Let the other kpop groups make their own unique path to success. Only then will they be able to see if they have what it takes to write their own history.
ARMY is unique as a fandom in that a large majority of us aren't multis. We stan BTS and BTS alone. Some listen to other groups casually. But we all understand that BTS is just different in purpose, process, product and scale. So much of kpop is about pageantry which is a craft in and of itself. But BTS really is about the music and art. So they draw a different crowd--one generally less interested in the flash-bang and more interested in the substance. Our immensely diverse fandom is proof of that. The number one word that BTS want to be associated with as their legacy is "sincere" and that comes through so clearly. They sincerely love what they do, who they do it with, and who they do it for. That's why they're 10 years in and still peaking. That's why they're the Kings. Also, this video didn't say it but BTS are now 5x Grammy nominated and j-hope has 137 writing credits (idk why the creator of the vid didn't number them like she did RM and Suga...j-hope has been one of our main writers since pre-debut--for rappers, that's important and you should be aware of those contributions.)
Agree 100%! True ARMY are OT7 even if most us do have our favorites (biases). I'm a 49 yr old ARMY with J-Hope as bias and the rest of the hyung line as wreckers😊. The maknae line are babies for me ❤
there was a lot of hatred towards them in South Korea too. even many k pop groups don't want to deal with bts. bts is where they are for their hard work and the dedication of Army
about you talking about JK's tattoo and how they can do whatever they want.. well, back in February, JK went against two of the company's rules which are to not go live without a staff member and drinking live.. we were like "won't they scold you?" and he's like no they won't.. he's right, they didn't scold him but the members reminded him about the drinking.... also it was 1AM and he was home alone so yeah lol... one of his late night lives he accidentally fell asleep, making the staff in the company to end the live for him, again he was home alone... and just the other day, he went live early in the morning, he just woke up and was still in bed, 20 minutes later, he went back to sleep and ARMY just watched him sleep for another 20+ minutes.. he said that he wanted to see how the staff reacted if he falls asleep again and it's too early in the morning 🤣 Jin also once said he doesn't listen to the company
Happy 10 year Anniversary BTS! They've definitely earned it yet still remain humble and grateful to us Armies. I love them all to pieces but I have an extra soft spot for Yoongi (SUGA). Introverts unite...separately in our own homes lol. Borahae BTS 💜 Borahae Army 🎉
That’s why they are so humble, because they started from literally zero. They worked their a-* off to where they are now, they paved the way. New kpop groups under their company is lucky to have a better environment and financial support for their training and whatnot. Idols are now easier to be known globally too.
You can never go wrong with BTS 😉 they have so much content to react... thank you for taking your time to get to know more about the boys..if you decide to follow the BTS journey you have all my love and support....💜💜💜💜
In the beginning, Jin was embarrassed with all the emphasis on his looks, so he just embraced it and almost made fun of it. Instead of being the pretty boy, which was the role assigned to him at the beginning, he prefers to be the goof ball he actually is. Such a sweet guy.
HOLY damn I am SOOOOO excited. 💜 Im an ARMYSTAYTINY, BTS was the first group I got into so nobody will ever top them in my eyes (but SKZ and Ateez are obviously great as well)
@@LisaMT1218 same! I don’t stan Stray Kids but I’m really familiar with them as people, their sound, and their music. I even watched their survival show but in the end, their music is just not for me (most of the time) so that’s why I can’t stan yet.

Hey trolltek I just wanted to say that whenever u start to react to their music, please don't start with the English ones like dynamite, butter or PTD I personally recommend to start with other song like maybe ON or BLACKSWAN, MICDROP, or DNA , and also if you want to know them more I highly recommend the series “the rise of Bangtan” it's fanmade but it's really good and it will help u know more
Thank you for the reaction! Very much recommend both TXT and Enhypen (yes Enhypen have an Aussie Jake), also Seventeen from boy groups. If you ever decide to check out any girl groups, I highly recommend Dreamcatcher, I don't usually gravitate towards girl groups, but they're my favourite for sure, and very different from a typical girl group. Also prepare to be absolutely blown away by Kingdom, the performances there are next level.
As someone who's been there with bts for 10 years, I can just say welcome to the 1st class of kpop groups, welcome to the magical rainbow band ,and good luck in reacting to the endless bts's contents 💜 🌈
Xceleste’s video this is BTS army is a great intro to the fans and what they put out in the world… Suga’s the most raw and passionate in BTS Rm is the philosopher poet and intellectual of the group But each member brings different musical preferences and styles but somehow they meld together in amazing cohesion… Found you today and subscribed … welcome to our rabbit hole.. we love watching reactors when BTS finds them 💜
They seem older group... Now you can say it... As BTS and army celebrating 10th anniversary... But music bias, touching lyrics bias, energy bias, they will never be felt old... You will experience it when you start listening to them...
I am so glad the biggest band in the world is BTS. They are massive and have millions of ARMY behind them, its true, they can do whatever they want, and with that kind of power, it can be scary if it falls to the wrong hands. But BTS has continued to show despite having this power theyre not about that. 10 years later, still the same kind, loving, hilarious guys who genuinely just love music and their fans. Who still cares about the littlest things, and still love being around each other and immense love for ARMY no matter how high they go. Theyre goood people and deserve this success
Wow! Never to late to become part of Army. They are amazing the boys become men. Humble to the core. Genius bunch. Boy never ending stuff to speak about them
In K-pop, the Leader is usually the oldest member. It’s unusual to be the Leader, like RM, who has three members older than him. BTS was originally a hip-hop group that was formed around RM, who was already a well-known underground rapper.
Passion is a good word. They are all beautiful inside & out. I am a 70 yr old female American. 8th generation. ARMY since 2016. I have watched these young men grow up. My bias is V (his voice, his gorgeous looks). Bias wreckers are J Hope & Jin. I don’t connect to female groups either. TXT and Enhyphen are BTS babies. Bred from the same company. Other groups have tried to emulate the magic & love that the BTS members have for each other. They can't do it.
Really enjoyed your genuine reaction to our boys. Your reactions can be as long as you want Army will be here watching with you. Please also watch live performances with the mv as they are also great. Always be yourself in the reactions and it will be lovely. Looking forward to more reactions to BTS. BORAHAE
jin and jhope are currently in the military but by the end of this year i think all bts members will be in the military on duty which every korean must do by the age of 30

Just to give you a perspective of how big BTS actually are - BTS are literally 52% of the entire kpop industry in terms of revenue. They are BIGGER than all of the rest of kpop combined together. That's how BIG they are and yet so humble, kind and respectful. They bring more money into S Korea than Hyundai and Samsung.
...and Jimin has the most tattoos other than Jungkook...like the moon phases going down his back, Nevermind across his chest, and a few others as well.
You are refering to RM and Suga Most people's IQs lie between 90 and 110. 148 is really quite high. Concerning racism, the fans dont care what colour, race etc they are. It is the big business that is racist, thinking it is unacceptable for a group who doesn't perform in English to be the biggest. That was why they brought out some all English songs, but their success was still interfered with. All over the world fans are happy to listen to their songs in Korean because their music is so good.
bts rapline is real hiphop students. they been idolizing OGs like Nas, Cole, Em, even KRS one and J.Dilla. that's why their music and messages resonate hiphop since they not only write their own stuffs, they also share their own struggles and experiences especially the rapline
This is the reason why you will love BTS they are all humble, dedicated, down to earth talented boyband in the world right now.. they love for armys are priceless
17:17 its nice watching a reactor be aware of this. i cant wait to see you react more to bts especially today being their 10 year anniversary. you will love them im sure because they are so freaking talented and amazing human beings
Seeing as you were initially drawn to Suga perhaps you could start your BTS exploration with him. He has 2 mixtapes and an album D-Day (which he is touring for at the moment). He has a documentary about the album making on Disney + and it’s going to be in the cinemas for a very limited time on June 17. It isn’t much notice I know but if you do end up liking BTS a lot you might regret not taking the chance to see him. Similarly his Korean concert of the D-Day tour is being live-streamed on June 24-25. BTS concerts are next level and whilst Suga’s show is different, it is still a concert that is top notch.
oh im glad you reacted to this!! i'm more of a casual bts fan at this point but i've been listening to them since 2015 and watching their success has been so unreal. they're very talented and their bond with eachother is truly something special
I really liked the video and what you had to say. The fact that you spent the whole video teasing RM for hair cuts 😂 He had his phases ^^ But RM doesn't stand for Rap Monster anymore. He said he felt like he outgrown that name and wanted something new. He said RM could stand for 'Real Me' but there is no official meaning. James Corden has a carpool Karaoke video with BTS that I really love, but he had some beef with Armys last year after he basically implied BTS fans were 15yo girls lol. It was ridiculoys, especially after he pretended he was an Army himself. In the next interview, RM said they forgive him (after he tried to defend himself, but never apologized) but ever since they never went back to his show. They chose to go to Jimmy Fallon instead, whom we all love. If you want to start reacting to their solo work, for Suga (which I guess is your bias), I recommend watching those 4 songs (from 3 different albums) in that order to understand the story : The last, Daechwita, Haegum and Amygdala. Don't forget to put subtitles. His song 'Shadow' is really good too. Welcome into the Army, enjoy the journey discovering BTS ^^
All abled bodied men are obligated to enlist till their 28th birthday. BTS received a special postponement because or their cultural merit order, so they can wait to enlist till they're 30.
2nd generation kpop groups usually have the eldest as their leader but times have changed and 3rd generation kpop groups like BTS and most of the 4th generation like Stray Kids have different criteria in selecting the leader. Probably just a coincident that they are both the first member? sorry I don't follow stray kids so not really sure
All BTS member's have at least one tattoo they are not under the same restricts as 'other' kpop groups. As a group they have a 'Friendship tattoo of the number 7 each, the only member who hasn't shown us where his number 7 is tattooed on his body is Suga. Jungkook has his tattoo sleeve also ARMY across his hand and other tattoos on his hand and of course like his follow members he has his number 7 friendship tattoo. Jimin has quite a lot of tattoos mostly phrases, lyric's on his side, across the top of his arms, inside one finger, behind his ear and down the back of his neck and spine he has the phrases of the moon. . BTS have never really followed the 'kpop culture rules', they've always had far more freedom. BTS and their company are slowly changing things in the world of Kpop as they've always been on the outside but are now global A Listers. They are the apex preditors of the Kpop world. They weren't meant to succeed coming from a tiny almost bankrupt company. They were very much looked down upon and shunned. Now look at them they are on top of the world and are bigger than all the other kpop companies put together. They don't use media hype like groups from the old big 3 use. They won't conform and use illegal practices. Everyone tries to copy them but at the same time attack them.
V was not friends with the guy he went to the audition with. Look up the video where the dude disses V. V's answere to Jimmy Fallon was his diss back. I love it!
I actually disagree with you a little bit regarding hierarchy. In a household you should respect your parents and grandparents but in day to day life respect is earned. From what I have seen the issue is that older people can take advantage of their position and the younger need to “take it” and accept even if maybe they have better ideas. I do not like the concept that because a person is older they are always right. In the real world this is not always applicable.
I so agree with you on the make up idea. I'm sure Prince got some flack, but I often wonder if he had been an out standing RAPPER how that would have gone over here in the west.
you just watched the most popular band in the world, and you must be the first person who have thought of them as " older " when i would not have guessed that, its nice cause they are mature and still very young. i much prefer to watch people in my age rather than like 14 year olds or 18 y olds in groups, guess it feels like bit creepy in a way
If no one’s explained yet, IQ is basically a bell curve. Most people have an IQ of 100, anything between 85 and 115 is “average”. The further you get from 100 in either direction, the fewer people there are. (68% of all people have an IQ between 85 and 115, and only 0.3% of people are either below 55 or above 145.) Anything above 130 is considered “gifted”. I don’t know about many other groups’ leaders, but for RM’s case, BTS was created around him (similar to stray kids, except RM didn’t choose the members himself like bang chan did). Bang PD was so impressed with 16 year old Namjoon’s talent and the depth of his lyrics that he signed him on the spot, back when he barely had any trainees and didn’t really know what to do with him yet - he decided to create a hip hop group around Namjoon, it was clear basically from the beginning that he would eventually be the leader, also due to his personality.
Many Army also don’t like James Corden after he referred to Army as a bunch of fifteen year old girls. He’s also notoriously rude to serving staff in many restaurants. Jimmy Fallon is true Army. I take James with a pinch of salt knowing that he is probably all about the fame game.
Stray kids remind me so much of BTS with the exception of they are from a large company. But the freedom they have to write , arrange and produce is what is taking them to the top. the same thing with Ateez. Most Kpop are entretainers there 3 groups are dedicated artists with tons of talent and an even more admirable work ethic
I agree. When a label guides and allows their artists to do their own songwriting, it becomes much better. Even though there are some phenomenal producers, the labels have them crank out so many songs that the producers can become stale so it's best to have members do their own production as much as possible.
A couple of things to be more clear - RM can stand for Rap Monster but also for Real Me - A lot of idols dropped out of school to be singers but others like some members of SKZ or BTS finished their studies - Tattoos are not a taboo in K-pop but some shows don’t allow them on idols and they need to cover them up with makeup or patches, a lot of idols have tattoos tho like Jungkook, TEN (nct, wayv), Soyeon and Yuqi (g-idle), Soojin (former g-idle member), Hongjoong, San and Wooyoung (yes, ateez have tattoos), NingNing (aespa), Chanyeol (EXO), Chaeyoung (TWICE), Jackson (GOT7), HyunA (soloist) and many others - Bangchan is indeed a social butterfly, he is friend with BTS’s Jungkook, GOT7’s BamBam and Yugyeom, Seventeen’s DK, Mingyu and The8, NCT’s Jaehyun and Astro’s Cha Eunwoo. They all have a group chat and are known as the ‘97 line of K-pop since they were all born in the same year. Chan is also friend with TWICE because he trained with them for a while and he’s friend with Blackpink’s Lisa since she’s also part of the ‘97 line and she’s childhood friend with BamBam (who is also Chan’s friend) - Lots of groups have a color theme thing like Ateez or BTS, it can be just a representative color like Neon Green for NCT( the lightstick is also neon green) or it can have a deeper meaning like purple for BTS where it becomes their motto “i purple you” as said in the guide - The guide put the members in order of when they joined the agency/group, the age order is: Jin, Suga, RM, J-Hope, Jimin, V, Jungkook - Martial arts are a strong part of the Asian culture and Taekwondo is a Korean martial art that a lot of people do, so it’s very common in K-pop groups to have some members with a lot of years of practicing Taekwondo
ONE SUGGESTION FROM MY SIDE . WHEN YOU RAECT TO THEIR SOLOS OR GROUP MUSIC. PLEASE REACT TO THEIR MVs FIRST AND THEN THEIR LIVE PERFORMANCES. BECAUSE THREIR LIVE'S ARE LIT . YOU WILL SEE MORE OF THEIR COLORS.

Thank you! 💜💜I hope to see you start the BTS rabbit hole because there's NOTHING like it. I've been a Kpop fan since 1998 but they're the first group with an organic "universe" around them between content/storyline, personality, talent, and genuine depth. This is what happens when a group is given creative freedom - they're much happier and they thrive. Other groups have been trying to replicate it the past several years, I can only consider that a net positive in Kpop. Girl groups are lagging behind, unfortunately, because they generally focus on the male gaze and teen girls. BTS are for real. TXT are their little brother group that are almost as good - please consider checking out their emo/post-hardcore/pop-punk and artistic tracks when you get a chance! Runaway, Lovesong, Can''t You See Me are a great place to start. RM (your favorite BTS dude so far) works on their songwriting.
