The Hairy Hauler is nearing completion! Well, kind of. The chassis is finally ready for final install after months of cutting, chopping and welding. Then, it's time to take a look at how to be prepared for the unexpected.
@@bmstylee Stacey did an episode that looked back on a lot of the Season 1 projects like Big Orange, the LT1 S-10, and a few others and they all went to the crusher. That was something that got under his skin and pretty much after that, especially after Mel wasn't the co-host, he refused to build another "crusher vehicle." Projects like the Tomb Raider jeep, the "Six-Gun" Powerstroke, and even the Prerunner Ranger all went to people that use them. I think if memory serves me right, Wicked Willys went to his dad.
It did get painted in a later episode. Unfortunately, I don't know if the truck ever got completed because, to the best of my knowledge, there was never a "payoff" episode.
